Gardeners World

Don't know if you've watched it before, but I prefer Beechgrove Garden over Gardeners' World. The presenters are less formal, there is less of a focus on flowers and they do a lot of trials, so it's more interesting. Anyway, it's a nice alternative for your growing fix.
I want to watch the future programs of Beechgrove Garden what day does it go out?0 -
It goes out on Thursdays and Sundays as stated on their website http://www.thebeechgrovegarden.com/
Thanks to the person who first mentioned this, I watched last week's and I'll be watching it in future too. Lots of clips on Youtube

I looked at iplayer and could'nd find BBC Scotland on my list0 -
Easiest way is to search for "beechgrove" to find it. There are lots of different ways of accessing iPlayer, such as the one on cable TV, satellite, games consoles, new TVs etc, so I am not sure if they all have a search feature. If you just want to watch it on the website, then newest episode is here:I looked at iplayer and could'nd find BBC Scotland on my list

Thank you found it - Great another very good program - I am now thinking GW can take a run and jump -
I think GW has been going down for a number of years!0 -
I think the problem with GW is they keep changing it. A few years ago I think they were targetting new gardeners and made it very informal (almost like a kids show at times), whereas now it is almost the complete opposite.Thank you found it - Great another very good program - I am now thinking GW can take a run and jump0 -
I made it a favourite in Iplayer and the new programme plops into your favourites each week. (Otherwise I forget to look sometimes and it's only available for about a week
)
Enjoyed this week's... a much more commonsense approach and plants at about the same stage as mine in the North East
Gardener's World are often a month ahead of me. They even had a bit of a giggle over plants being 'hardy in Hampshire!'
