Following last night's program I see the BBC is again mucking around with the listings as Gardeners World is not on next week due to the bl**dy snooker.

Surely they must know more people want to see Gardeners World than snooker which in my opinion peaked for a while in the 1980's and since been on the decline.

If they have to put rubbish like snooker on why not put it on BBC3 or 4 or even the red button?

I can not see why bl**dy sport has to have priority over other programs

Don't know if you've watched it before, but I prefer Beechgrove Garden over Gardeners' World. The presenters are less formal, there is less of a focus on flowers and they do a lot of trials, so it's more interesting. Anyway, it's a nice alternative for your growing fix.

Probably because the 'sport' is live and the other prog' is pre-recorded.
    I'm not that way reclined

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

I think it's on BBC Two Scotland on Thursday evening, most people outside of Scotland watch it on Satellite or one of the various iPlayer services. Current episode is here:

No problem. It's just good to tell others about it, it's like the BBC's best kept secret.

Another shout out for Beechgrove , I feel I learn a lot more from it compared to gardeners world, plus you get a laugh with Jim's patter :-)

The BBC is obsessed with sport. Heaven help us when the international school sports day is on later this year!

Not that I consider Monty Don much of a loss, I must say.
