I'm very definately vegetarian, but I've got a wheat intolerance, and a slight dairy intolerance, so have rice milk and vegan marge, but I do eat egg and cheese now and then, but eat egg free mayonnaise. I eat egg/cheese based dishes as if I didn't, there wouldn't be a great deal I could eat at times (it was all I could eat for breakfast on our last HB holiday
I have slight intolerances to egg, tomato, potato, and soya too
Savvy, I'm gluten free and vegan. Must be hard for you being intolerant to soya as well.
I was going to suggest the Redwoods dairy-free cheese (super melting mozarella is the best!) http://www.redwoodfoods.co.uk/ but it has soya in it?
I take Gluten free crackers or bread with me when I go abroad (mainly my fave place - Egypt) and then eat salads, falafels, rice, potatoes, houmous, tahini and simply cooked veggies. Plus fruit of course!
Blimey I'm getting hungry now."I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

Hi, my first post here, but just had to say I'm vegan too, as is my husband and baby son. We don't buy many specialist vegan products but do love Swedish Glace and anything by Redwoods. Nice to know there are other vegans out there - we don't meet many!

Blimey I'm getting hungry now.I had to eat a salad every night on holiday which included tomato and egg, otherwise I'd have starved on lettuce, cucumber, shredded carrot/beetroot, pickled onions and olives!

Savvy, the super melting mozarella is nice on homemade pizza or toast - it bubbles up nicely.:D
I try to take Orgran corn crackers & a jar of Plamil dairy free mayo on holiday so i have something to snack on if I'm hungry. If need be I can usually find some fruit or if I've been slack - plain crisps - though I know theyre not that healthy! lol!"I expect to pass through this world but once. MMM that cheese sounds yum!!
Yeah in the end I had to succumb to the Spanish greasy chips to go with the salad, but mid week I got sick of them! :rolleyes:Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts.
