I'm no expert but I think maybe yoghurt for the korma and yoghurt and tomato for the masala?Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

noticed Tescos Masala Sauce (big jar) is on at a pound so bought some chicken breasts and to make them go round, added same size chunks of banana right at end - great success! Potato chunks would be cheaper andf just as healthy for non-banana likers!
Good luck (and solidarity lol) to all us working poor! Thanks to all encouraging posters!
My inlaws spent a few years working in Ghana in the 50s/60s and MIL always serves banana and sliced hard boiled eggs with curry, it's lush, we all cross our fingers that's what she's cooked when we go round because the alternative is sausage rolls heated under the grill to perfect bacteria-breeding temperature because she doesn't like them too hot
I throw a handful of sultanas in as well as the eggs and banana and I use Mr T's value curry sauce as it tastes less like an Asian curry IYSWIM?Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

I wish your MIL was my MIL then ( sorry MIL). Mine made us a mince and banana curry that was so bad we still talk about it. I've never had food with such a bizarre texture ( MIL cooks everything for 2 hours too long, so it all breaks up into a mush). I do like bananas in curry though. I tried to find an online link to an Ainsley Harriott one I used to do but can't see it.0 -

Trust me, the curry is the ONLY thing it's safe to eat there! DH stormed off there once when we had an argument and he was back by teatime :rotfl:Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

I am convinced that the OP is a spammer working for the supermarket's online marketing department. That can be the only reason why someone would mention by name that Mr T's sauce muck and try to pass it off as "cooking" "fresh" food for kids.0

One of our friends once made a cod curry. That was bizarre, imagine that you'd taken the batter off your fish from the chippy and had then plonked it into your Indian takeaway. The flavours just did not mix well. We were very polite about it. Friend had been ill and part of her therapy to getting better was to follow a recipe from a cookbook. I had a pub lunch today and on the chefs specials was 'curried cod loin' I gave it a miss.:D
