Different battery for HTC Desire S?

I've found the cheap batteries to be poor, even worse than the original, even if advertised as higher capacity. The only HTC replacement that was any good was a genuine one.
as the other thread says, if it was that cheap n easy to produce a higher capacity battery, then I'm naive enough to think HTC would fit one as standard?!
Edit to add - in theory, your logic is sound - higher capacity = longer usage time. The same charger would be ok, but take longer to charge.0 -
i have been using an bigger capacity battery on my HTC sensation for the pas 6 month and it does give better use time on the phone i got Two Anker 1900mAh ones with a wall charger from amazon for about £16. The reason i got two and the charger, so that if i do use my phone more one day i will have the other waiting full charger to swap and i can charge them out with the phone itsself0
