Orange Rip Off! (Again)
Is it just me or is Orange just a really crap company?
My bill which sould be £25 per month came in at £29.75 because i used 7 picture messages (the pictures where sent my accident as my Crapberry Torch has a habbit of unlocking itself and doing random things)!
Should i cancel my direct debit so that it does not go out and then ring them up and explain that they are ripping me off and i want the bill priced at how it should be?

I would not cancel your direct debit as that will cause you lots of problems. Orange seem to be billing you correctly, they cannot be held responsible for the problems with your phone apparently sending picture messages on its own. I would put a lock code on the phone to prevent it happening again.0

Not more than many other companies. Is it just me or is Orange just a really crap company?
I think you should cancel your Crapberry in the first place - before it starts calling and sending messages abroad. My bill which sould be £25 per month came in at £29.75 because i used 7 picture messages (the pictures where sent my accident as my Crapberry Torch has a habbit of unlocking itself and doing random things)!

Why is is Orange's fault that you haven't taken the basic precaution of PIN-locking your phone?
How can they be 'ripping you off' by billing you for services used, involuntarily or not?No free lunch, and no free laptop

because im already paying more than 25 per month as it is and this is just insult to injury! If i sign up for 25 per month then i expect it to be that for the next 2 years not 26.53 or 27.57 or whatever number they decide to bill me next for.0

Your expectations would be correct only if your contract was a capped one. In this case your line would be cut as soon as you reach £25. For your actual contract they are correct only if your usage doesn't exceed your monthly allowances.because im already paying more than 25 per month as it is and this is just insult to injury! What are my options for getting out of this god forsaken contract?0
-
The only option is to pay for all the remaining months in advance. They are likely to discount the total amount by about 1/6.0

You sent the messages so I don't see what the problem is, they've billed you correctly0

Is this thread a joke or wind up?
Let me get it straight. You use a chargeable service on top of your bundle and complain because they charge you?
Unbelievable.0 -
Perhaps you could call Orange and explain to them that you are unable to read an agreement and also unable to follow instructions on how to use a mobile phone and therefore should not be in possession of one and could they please take it away from youJohn0
