My first weekend pay package went on a personal sony cd player.
By the time I had paid rent, fuel, towards my car, insurance and suits for work with by first proper pay package there wasn't much left, just enough for a 10 week art course.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

I was about 15 and working in the local newsagents (not sure if that is classed as a "childhood" job but I haven't been able to work for a few years due to disability

I bought my mum a bottle of Estee Lauder 'Youth Dew' and Nilson's 'Without you'.
Before anyone thinks I'm a good daughter my mum had told me it was customary to buy your mum a present with your first wage!

DS has recently started his first job (part time) i got a pack of multi coloured M& M's from M&M world when he was up in London a few weeks back.0
