A 'new' moped - though it was actually my first 3 weeks wages, or at least what was left over after paying board.
I saved up for my first one with my paper round money, but this one was a snazzy suzuki number in bright orange and cost me £125!0 -

A Givenchy watch. It was fabulous, with diamonds and a sapphire on the winder...still have it, but it needs a good service!0

I bought a black corduroy ra-ra type skirt, a black slashed neck jumper (both from Chelsea Girl - loved that shop!), red metallic earrings, red scarf and a red belt. It was 1982, I have a photo booth pic of me wearing said outfit (well you can see the top bit) which I'll hunt out.Over futile odds

I bought three CD's for myself and a new outfit for my mum who was going to a wedding, but thought the outift she had seen was too expensive.
That was 20yrs ago - although the outfit doesn't fit now (sorry for blabbing mum!), she can't get rid of it. She has used the skirt to make cushion covers, that now sit on her bed!!
I'm such a lovely daughter:D
