    I totally agree. But unfortunately, I knw people workg in private and they hate it. It's what's behind the scenes that is scary. The polished front may beall and good but I would not choose it over NHS. In my area anyway. I cannot comment on other places.

    Further impressed today. Told us we'd probably wait 2-3 months for an MRI scan. Got appointment through this morning for the 15th.

    The inevitable privatisation of the NHS won't be bad news for everybody.

    If you have joint problems, need a hip replacement or need your cataracts sorted then you will be fine. The private sector love this sort of "clean" procedure.

    But if you have cancer, get stabbed or have abdominal pain in the middle of the night then you will be screwed.
