evening!
Well i'm waiting for a phone call from someone who had a look round the house......(8pm supposed to call -8.20pm now....hmmm!)
So whilst i'm waiting i popped on the t.v and found- 'beating the recession- cash vs cards' very interesting! Obviously missed the beginning but this looks like me when i started on my dmp journey lol, living off cash, leaving cards at home & budgeting! Oh and a ledger (daily spend diary to me & you lol)
So couple of items picked up that i sold but as i was away all weekend helping mum to move and settle in i missed 2 ladies that popped round- oopsy! Must see if i can get hold of them to see if they still want items!
Have another 2 'very interested in your property' emails from gumtree but will wait to see what is going on with this lady that is supposed to be calling first. By the looks of it she's not one for time keeping! -perhaps a sign for rent payments ??? hope not!
Anyway back to the overspends from the weekend-
£150 on petrol (london -essex x4 & london - yorkshire & back)
£30 take out food for all
£250 for dog (but not paid for by us)
£60 put aside for chip & jabs tomorrow for pup!
£180 for a fridge/freezer :eek: but i felt so sorry for my mother! she has been without one for about 4 months as she couldn't afford to move and buy the fridge freezer so has had to buy fresh food each day!! So the money that would have gone back to savings from the pup has gone on mum  ah well easy come easy go i guess!
8:27pm- no call as yeti would like to go to bed soon!!!!
Spent £6 on food today hoping it will last till friday now :rotfl: i spend £180 on fridge freezer for mum and leave myself with £10 to live on for the week  didn't work that out too well did I!!!
Umm so yes that's about all i've been doing & spending (unless i remember something else later!)
ooooh 8.30pm and Gok is gonna show me how to make yummy chinese rice! (and no phone call ) !!

a few more pics of pup
AND she called *yay* i have a tenant lined up
However she has to give a months notice to where she is...i could go with one of the other people but the poor girl sounded like she had been crying and something about the neighbours not liking her because she is Englishso i felt really sorry for her and am holding the house for her. She also wants to pay the bond in two goes which i said i was happy to happen (am i mad?? i really don't make a very good business person do i lol)
Oh well i've turned down 3 others now that haven't even looked at it yet and they could take immediately. I'm a sucker for a sob story and trying to help others though (been there myself with neighbours not liking me just cos i wasn't from their town!)
So can sort out spreadsheets soon and hopefully can make the payments to cccs without a break nowMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. I dont think paying in 2 instalments is a bad thing she maybe just budgeting and as she has to give a months notice its a lot of money to find.... been there done it always paid on time
(no i do not offer guarentees!)
:D Hopefully if she does budget and work out what she can afford and when she will be a good tennant.

polly- (or any other dog owners) puppy has only been home a couple of days but the change in his stools is noticeable since getting home! We're feeding him pedigree puppy dry food...is this bad?? His stools are loose and so smelly now  ! just wondered if you had a recommendation for a dry food that i can get from a local shop (i.e tesco etc) or pets at home as going there later. I don't want to buy another and it upset his tummy even more
poor pup! I googled pedigree and it said there were a lot of fillers in it so not good for the dog. Any advice?? xx

I had a cocker spaniel and she had a funny tum I used to get the expensive dry one but stumbled across the lidl one which she was fine with. She may just need a week to get used to it.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100

My house is a mess, i've been cleaning grass blades with baby wipes and i still have to go out to vets in an hour and i'm exhausted! Oh and the pork belly i'm cooking looks minging (you live and learn eh) and it's not cooked yet! So emergency dinner for kids tonight of fishfinger sandwiches:D!!! And i'm very tempted to get myself a mcdonalds on the way home from the vets lol but i've been good since yesterday on my diet so mustn't crack now! Anyway must dash again, fishfingers to cook

Hi,
I enjoy following your diary dfw123. It's like you all have your own little community on here.
I just posted my SoA on my diary getting clarity on my finances (I think that's what I called it - oops). Can I ask you lovely people on here to have a look at it and give me any tips?
Thank you0
