Hi, I'm new to this forum, so not sure if it's ok to post on here.
This is an interesting thread, is it ok if I follow along? Not sure what "subscribe" means or how to go about it.
There's a lot of inspiration and support in this thread. Thank you.

  • Pinot- I wasn't clever enough like kerri to put my pic actually on the thread :( but i was well chuffed i actually worked out how to get a working link on here :rotfl: so that was enough for me :T:p

Gargrave- i've spent about £50 kitting him out with beds, food, treats, toys, leads & dinner bowls & etc!!! then I think i have jabs to do on him so he's all booked in for vets on tuesday evening so i thank god i have the share money coming to me :rotfl: not sure how i'd pay otherwise! Pets are expensive

fantaskiyk, welcome to my diary :T of course it's ok to follow, the more the merrier :D if you wish to subscribe to a thread go up to the green bar and click on thread tools and there should be an option to subscribe there :A

And thank you mandz, choo & abba :D he is gorgeous isn't he! I want to call him teddy, dh not sure on it. I love it though! He's already booked in for appearances at show and tell in nursery :rotfl:

Dad has put the £250 in my bank :T £100 already gone back to emergency fund ( i borrowed the £100 from there to pay lady) and have £150 in there for pup :) may need to borrow that emergency money back again to tide me over until shares cash in but at least i know i can pay it back now :)

Also have 2 more prospective tenants for my house. But one has been honest and told me she can't move in till July (end of) so if all the others fall through i will look into letting it to her. WIll mean a fair few broke months though and we will be £1000 down on income over 2 months. Which is a lot of money to us and services the debt! But at the same time i won't lower debt repayments unless i really really have to. Want debt gone asap. We can live without clothes, and food. Right???:rotfl:

If not i will send another one with all the info she can get for me (dates, account numbers etc etc) AND apply again for my mortgage exit fee (you watch it will be the smallest payment in history after all this faffing round lol) x

He looks like a Teddy to me and getting a picture of any form to appear on your thread even if it is via a link is impressive to me !!!

I am sure he will relish his personal appearances at the nursery. Justwatch he doesnt get big headed and start making demands, if he thinks he is a famous puppy ! Maybe if hes popular you could rent him out to make some extra cash ! :rotfl:

Godd news that you have your Santander info, well some of it. Our Mortgage Exit Fee refund was £100, but that was good enough for me. I am going to try Santander next, but like you I have no idea where the info is I need. Looks like I need to venture into the loft again !

If you can find a nice person in santander they will find the info in seconds on their screen!!! My friend told me how easy it was and couldn't understand why they wouldn't give me the info over the phone when i called grr! £100 sounds fab to me ;) it all helps :D

  • ok finally had 5 mins to do the online banking have updated sig as it stands at mo i have nearly 25% of emergency funds saved :T and savings i have taken into account the fact i had to pay for dogs stuff (bedding etc from shop and also vets bills and insurance) and worked out i *may* still have £300 left from the £500 - we'll se though i've no idea how much vets is. Even if i only have £200 left it is still an improvement on nothing lol ...so i've included the £300 in the signature but it may change again if we need more for vets etc!

Hoping to have saved all emergency funds by september sort of time...and also want enough money in school fee fund for a new uniform for DD and DS1 (he's grown so much bless him and doesn't moan that at 5'4" i'm still making him wear school clothes designed for someone 4 inches shorter :p) Also would like £1k of the savings saved by then ...so a few targets to reach there ;)

Have just transferred £4.96 from PP into my bank will go straight to savings. That is from surveys & selling something i think.

going to be a tough last week in the DFW household for may though. We are pretty much broke-ed!!!! ah well hope the kids like cous cous i have tonnes of it :D

  • Ahhhh, puppy! He looks so sweet, what breed is he? I am a complete dog nerd and have looooads of money saving dog tips that I've been putting into practice for a few years now. Shout if you want any :) I agree that the name Teddy really suits him! Is that what you went for in the end?

I have two dogs (whippets) but both were rescues so I never knew them as pups. I'm very jealous (in a nice way) :)
