:rotfl: great minds think alike! I X-posted with you on your diary & above! The 2 debts I was panicking about are indeed being paid in August and they've agreed it with v@nquid x 2 about it so it's all sorted :T

  • Glad it's sorted for you.
  • DH is out with the kids & dog today so a few hours peace and quiet for me! Instead of chilling out though i've scrubbed the house clean :doh:I never learn! Energy levels are so low again, i'm trying really hard to not eat chocolate & drink fizzy drinks but when I have no energy they are my crutch :( and of course as they are bad for me they just make everything worse. Think i'm going to have to have a few more early nights and try and shake it off, can't be doing with me being tired & grumpy for the whole summer  poor dh this morning got it in the neck :o he was not happy and told me to go back to bed :rotfl:

Yesterday I spent the day with just DD :) was really nice. We went into town to the library and spent a while in there choosing some new books, we trawled the charity shops and she spent her £5 birthday money that my sister gave her a few days ago. She got lots of lovely things rather than just one cheap toy for the fiver so was very happy :T I spent £2.50 on parking :( and £4 on drink & cakes for us both as a treat :) so £6.50 for a nice day out. Happy as I can be with that!

Tomorrow is dentist for kids, that should be fun as DS2 refused to let the dentist anywhere near him last time! .....anyway quick updates:

Debts: Logged onto SC and there is a problem with one of my debts. I'm wondering if it's been passed to a DCA? Will get DH to call SC tomorrow now as it's his debt and I wonder if he will need to call the creditor up?

Savings: Just wrote a rant, have deleted it. Anyway ;) Savings will start in force next month. Nothing added to any pots yet this month as waiting on HER to pay! Will update once that has happened!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend :)

  • Im a fan of a plan myself! good luck with it. :)
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Well I've spent the morning making washing powder, feeling stressed and trying to sort out my computer's security and broadband speed. DH is downloading a gazillion flipping things so to say it has been stressful is understatement of the year. It's taken me one hour to download a small file from v1rgin's website

Dentist later....and I must get a prescription ordered!

DH is insisting that he had £900 in his bank last week and wants to know where it has gone! Hmmm perhaps £10 here and £10 there taken out is not the best way forward with money? I'm so annoyed with him, but that is nothing new now is it? I bet everyone (myself included) is annoyed with listening to me harp on about him. I could actually just cry though with how selfish he is :(

    Money today:
£175 paid in from tenant. £90 paid to Park, £10 into prescription fund, £75 on to car tax.

Checked spreadsheets and i'm not sure if we have enough money to visit my dad. The petrol is a big cost already without any expenses being added once we are there. To think we could go and spend nothing aside from petrol is naive really so need to think again on this one :(

Gas safety inspection was done successfully on Wednesday so £95 should be coming out of my account sometime soon (i hope they don't leave it for weeks/months to charge me as I will forget about it :o)

Hope everyone is having a better day than me!

  • Oh forgot to add, we can't go see my dad anymore as DH's mother wants him to go see her next weekend (at his expense) move her to a new home and do all the driving (for nothing) and the money for this will be coming from the funds I had aside for visiting my dad.....we might be getting a new dishwasher out of it (to us) but tbh i don't want it anymore (and I know I am cutting my nose off to spite my face) but I feel so angered how he will drop everything for her and yet he won't do anything for me or my children. He's outside doing the washing line now cursing and shouting at how he f**king hates doing s***y jobs. FED UP :(
