            Morning!
Had a meeting with ds1 school this morning about him transferring schools in September (again!) and they gave me his year end report I'm super happy with it although not much gratitude will go to his current school as he never gets homework, and I feel they've kind of given up as they are closing down. So all thanks will have to go to ds1 & his old school I'm super happy with it although not much gratitude will go to his current school as he never gets homework, and I feel they've kind of given up as they are closing down. So all thanks will have to go to ds1 & his old school He is expected to get 7-8, A-A* grades at GCSE and the rest B's :j He's currently working at levels 6-7 in the subjects he's keeping for GCSE. He's dropping History and he's currently on a 7A  which i've been told is really good. Shame he's not interested in keeping it ...we've also been told that we may get help with new uniform and also transport costs -they are currently in talks about putting on a free bus from old school (which is 15 min walk away from us) to the new school :T i'll be super happy if this does happen as I was panicking about how he was going to get there across busy roads (i realise he is nearly 15 He is expected to get 7-8, A-A* grades at GCSE and the rest B's :j He's currently working at levels 6-7 in the subjects he's keeping for GCSE. I've a meeting with the new school on Monday to confirm a few more things, sort out new uniform (which the bill is being sent to the LEA i believe :j) and also meet a few key teachers. It's all very exciting! He'll be going into year 10 so it will be an important year so they are being really good at trying to ease them in i have to say
More watchers on our bureau today :T no bids but 9 days left ...also had questions about delivery but i'm thinking 60+ miles is a tad too far even if they are paying petrol costs?? but 9 days left ...also had questions about delivery but i'm thinking 60+ miles is a tad too far even if they are paying petrol costs??
Tomorrow I have a free assessment booked in for the kids at home from Kumon ( think that's who they were anyway ) they will be here an hour and half and will tell me how much extra it would be to get the kids up to scratch on subjects they are struggling with (English for ds1 although his newest grade is a 7C which i think is good? so perhaps he's caught up??!) and maths for DD.......anyway this is the premise they are coming over on. Sunday we were supposed to be going to DH's brother's birthday but we were only told about it during the week and we just don't have the money to go it's only lunch so hopefully it will be ok if we miss it (if tenant pays up today perhaps we can still go...) it's only lunch so hopefully it will be ok if we miss it (if tenant pays up today perhaps we can still go...)
DD also has her ballet tomorrow which is paid for. Am hoping she will join in this week :doh:so far we've paid for her to cry, sit in the corner and refuse to speak to anyone i've persisted as i want her to get over the shyness and also because i've paid i've persisted as i want her to get over the shyness and also because i've paid

Good luck with that. I looked into the kumon people but they would only come round if me and OH were home which i though was odd. They never did come round as OH would just laugh at the idea. Also they were very cagey with their costs (which i automatically assume because they are so high) so i will keep an eye open for what you think.

Yes I noticed that they were very insistant on dh being here?! I didn't tell him until this evening so he had no choice really I bet they are super expensive! I'll report back though! I bet they are super expensive! I'll report back though!
 Have had a pm on ebay about selling one item early but we've left it to run they offered the price we'd started bidding at (£90) ideally we'd like more though! If she'd offered 30 more we'd have done it Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. A-£200, S- £221.34.
