  • Hello all! :j

Well I finally have my netbook back up and runnin (oh how i missed it!!)

My doggy is 1 today :bdaycake: so I have a house that smells of pilchards at the moment as I baked him a cake :rotfl:

    Have I missed anything important???

I'm still on the dmp with the CCCS and still not paying very much, am quite enjoying the extra money tbh! I have come to a few realisations along the way and one is to stop struggling all the time just to pay creditors an extra £10 a week!

I've also had a few realisations about food budgets etc. Whilst i was doing well eating for very little, the food we were consuming was low quality & making me ill. I have recently cut out asp@rtame from my diet and i feel so much better for it! I've lost half a stone by switching from diet products to full fat- go figure eh! I spent £90 on my weekly food shop this week and nearly everything was organic. It can be done.

My eldest son is home from boarding school- for good! We all had enough in the end and that was that. No sense in living a life because of how others think you should live. Do what you like so long as it hurts noone else ;)

I may be moving soon to Sunny Wiltshire (am hoping it is sunny there anyway, Essex is awful at the mo lol)

My youngest starts school in September and whilst i have secured a place at the school here (which is hard enough work) hubby comes home and tells me he wants to move- argh! DS1 had only just come home too and is at a new school now which he is top of the class and loving it. He's like a big fish in a small pond now as opposed to the little fish in the ocean at the last school. Happy kids = happy mum :D

Not much else to report. Budgets have changed a gazillion times lately but we always manage and our debt will hopefully, by summer, be below £9k. :T It's a slow, arduous journey but one i will never forget!

I hope all is well with everyone and i will try to catch up with you all :)

    DFW xx

Nice to think DS1 is back and it sounds like its going well for all of you..

Whoever told you Wiltshire was sunny????:rotfl:Has he been there recently? Perishing cold I'd say!! Maybe less so than in the East but hardly the Algarve:rotfl:

Take care and as I said, its great to 'see' you!!
