Though I stil see people driving about with the ECON button lit up. Yet they drive with the sunroof/windows open.
What's wrong with that, they've turned off the AC compressor whilst they have their windows/sunroof open, I'd imagine they'll turn econ off and go back to full AC when they close them. Makes perfect sense to me.

The A2 is the one car I still wish I had. It was binned because it was ahead of its time in terms of construction technique which made it pricy, but it had some great features.

I think you'll find that Audi didn't want to make a car that would appeal to the tall/small mpv crowd. Audi target the younger market, just look at how hard it was for Rover and Honda to recover from the mistake of aiming at OAP's.

    What's wrong with that?

That's the automotive equivalent of turning your house thermostat up to 35 degrees (because retards think this heats the house faster), then opening the windows when it gets too warm..... Rinse/repeat all day long.

If you have climate control, the best thing to do is to "set and forget"...... Set it at 21 degree's and don't f**k with it!

You'd be surprised at how many people leave the aircon off even with windows closed.

95% of people think that aircon is for hot days...

That's a stupid analogy. Some people just like to drive with the window down or sunroof open occasionally, particularly at lower speeds, so it makes perfect sense to knock it into eco mode or whatever, whilst you're doing it rather than wasting the use of the AC when the windows are open.

I see what you're saying there, but surely with the windows lowered you'll more than likely not need any air blowing at all?
