Transfer of Mini Cash ISA

Options
I have a mini cash isa with Nationwide currently paying 5.1% I am considering transfering this to Yorkshire BS as they are paying 5.6% Will there be any charges to do this and will I lose any interest in the changeover. Would it be better to wait until after 5th April or does this make no difference?

If you moved it to Nationwide Members ISA Bond you would get 5.4% (if you have been a member long enough - minimum of 3 years when opening the bond account).

A transfer outside Nationwide would be by instructing the other provider to contact Nationwide to arrange the transfer. There should not be any "charge" as such and certainly transfers to Nationwide lose no days' interest and I suppose it would work similarly in the proposed direction.

Can see no reason to delay moving funds until next tax year.

Or move it to a Nationwide Fixed Rate ISA Bond - 5.85% fixed for one or two years. Branch-based application only, not online.
