Can I hurt BT via Advertising Standards Agency?

Whilst logged on as a customer to their web site I wanted to see what packages where available and spotted, ‘online-exclusive’ an basic broadband and any time call package for £13/month + a £25 supermarket voucher. When trying to order this package it just say ‘sorry’ unavailable. This is rather misleading I feel.

It turns out that it is only for new customers and this info is ‘hidden’ under a closed tab ‘The legal stuff’ –
“Broadband and Anytime Calls Offer ends 27/06/12. £13 a month for 12 months with Free Unlimited Anytime Plan. Plus a £25 Sainsbury's gift card when you buy online at bt.com. Available to new BT Broadband customers that sign up for a 12 month minimum term and pay BT line rental.”
But you have to dig to find it out.

Now I would say that ‘being a new customer’ should be clearly mentioned with the main features or at least a T&C* apply. Also, BT know that I am an existing customer as I am logged on to their website as an existing account holder!

I have talk to BT options team and there digital care team, but it is like ‘Little Britain’ Carol Beer ”Computer says no… (cough)” and the front line staff are powerless, how do I get to the ‘sales and marketing’ that set up these misleading systems?

So I have made a complain to the ASA http://www.asa.org.uk/Complaints/How-to-complain/Online-Form/Step1.aspx
I have made a complaint Advertising Standards Authority ref: A12-194530 if anyone else wants to do the same to BT to misleading sales.

How can the individual make large companied feel enough pain to stop this silly sort of marketing and sales?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
