I was also told I could not have the loan with out PPI (it was also frontloaded)
Well done sir! The front loading is probably what sunk them. Not difficult to do, I was well researched on my complaint and made sure all correspondance was legible.
The legibility thing is what would catch me!0 -
I meant the nonsense you are spouting about not the rules which i do know.magpiecottage wrote: »Really? Well this "nonsense" as you call it is issued by the Ministry of Justice which, since you do not seem to know, regulates your activities.
If you have bothered to register with the MOJ then you will know that General Rule 3 says "A business shall be directed by people with the necessary competence."
You will also know that General Rule 4 says "A business shall ensure that any staff or other people working on its behalf
have the necessary training and competence to perform their duties."
And you will know that General Rule 5 says "A business shall observe all laws and regulations relevant to its business."
I cannot see how you could be registered with the MOJ and fail to be aware of these rules. The only alternative is that you are not registered and operating an illegal business.
Either way, you are incompetent.
I am just here to help people on here and will not argue with a narcist as yourself !Not all CMC`s are the same....:A0 -

So please report every instance of such claims - because I cannot guarantee to spot and report them all.
In fairness to BLINDEDBYMEDIAPROPAGANDA he has offered some advice to people within the forum. There have been a few on here recently though (PPIDISGRACE, for example) who seem to be trying to drive people towards CMCs by inferring making a claim is difficult or unduly time consuming. It may have happened before, but this is also the first time I have seen someone praising a CMC as the OP has here. SPAM? A coincidence? Who can say for sure

I take your point but I still find it alarming they do not know seem to know their own rules.Borris-the-Bear wrote: »In fairness to BLINDEDBYMEDIAPROPAGANDA he has offered some advice to people within the forum. Unlike the ambulance chaser who claimed that its client had been pressurised into buying a non-existent policy? You really are arrogant magpie.
Unlike the ambulance chaser who claimed that its client had been told they must buy a non-existent policy in order to get a loan?
Unlike the ambulance chaser who claimed their client worked for local government when in fact they worked for a charity?
Unlike the ambulance chaser who claimed that the sale of Critical Illness cover in 2003 was covered by FSA rules?
Unlike the ambulance chaser who claimed that a sale in 2004 breached ICOBS5.1.2 which according to them only came into existence in 2008?
Unlike the ambulance chaser who claimed that a sale in 2004 breached ICOBS4.1.6 which according to them only came into existence in 2009?
Unlike the ambulance chaser who claimed that a sale in 2004 breached ICOBS2.2.2 which according to them only came into existence in 2008?
My clients had to pay me to sort out all of these FRAUDULENT allegations. That is profitable for me but it is unfair on them.
The complainants could also find themselves being pursued by firms if a complaint is fraudulent.
Oh - and if you think PPI sucks you should try repossession.
It might be sold to people who it is not suitable for, It might be set up in a way that is unsuitable, but if set up properly it is a perfectly valid contract - and it could just save your home.0 -
No I wouldn't do that... I didn't even know you could 'tout' for business!!
Sorry Magpie...it should be called Magpiecottageforumi'mtheonlyoneallowedtogiveadvice.com0 -
Just to clarify...I DO WORK FOR A CMC but I do not own one! So why would I tout for business for them?? I genuinely enjoy helping people that have been ripped off! Why am I not allowed to do that? Why just because I work for a CMC should I not be able to give advice to other people?? And we don't even do Personal Injury claims so stick that up your self righteous !!!! MAGPIE!!0
