My Experience claiming back PPI

  • We seem to be under siege, all these CMC reps coming out of the woodwork. Martin obviously has them fearing for their profit margins! :D
So why would helping on here help profit margins??
Not all CMC`s are the same....:A

Not all claims are easy at all. Blackhorse are a nightmare especially if PPI was sold pre 2005.

Rubbish, Blackhorse have been VERY easy to deal with, pre-2005. Took less than 2 weeks to refund me.

'Nicolahaugh' - I'll put it bluntly, There is nothing difficult about sending of a FOS questionairre at the cost of a first class stamp to set the process off. For 5 minutes of your own time you would have saved hundreds, possibly thousands. I am aware you are probably just spamming, but if not, you have been very foolish.

    Borris-the-bear, I couldn't agree more :rotfl:

over here you will realise i will help for free as anybody who is on this forum would not want the services of a CMC`s so i think "touting for business" is quite frankly obsurd
we have had customers come to us after trying to deal with these muppets

So you ARE working for a CMC then.

Yes of course? I have not tried to hide this. If you actually read any of my previous comments you will see that people who have already decided to do the claims themselves on this forum do not want a CMC to do their claim which is fine so i will help them anyway i can on here for free. Our business helps people who cannot be bothered or are too busy to do it themselves and dont mind paying a fee

Client Specific Rule 12 of the Conduct of Authorised Persons Rules 2007, issued by the MOJ prohibits them from suggesting they can get a better result than the consumer can get for themselves if FOS consider the complaint. So please report every instance of such claims - because I cannot guarantee to spot and report them all.

Not sure what all this nonsense is but beleive me i have better things to do than talk nonsense with narrow minded individuals as yourself.
If any genuine people want help then just ask:)

Perhaps you would be good enough to share how you, as a amateur, managed to do easily but ppisucker, who presumably thinks himself a professional, could not.

There can of course be great honour in being an amateur - but not in being a professional who is amateurish.

Certainly, I simply wrote to Blackhorse with a FOS Questionairre, covering letter and proof I was employed by HM Armed Forces at the time I took out the loan, with references to full sick pay for my terms of service (9 years at that time) and redundancy package options if that ever occured. I was also told I could not have the loan with out PPI (it was also frontloaded)

They upheld on these reasons. Not difficult to do, I was well researched on my complaint and made sure all correspondance was legible. And of course read through advice on MSE! :)

Not sure what all this nonsense is

Really? Well this "nonsense" as you call it is issued by the Ministry of Justice which, since you do not seem to know, regulates your activities.

If you have bothered to register with the MOJ then you will know that General Rule 3 says "A business shall be directed by people with the necessary competence."

You will also know that General Rule 4 says "A business shall ensure that any staff or other people working on its behalf
have the necessary training and competence to perform their duties."

And you will know that General Rule 5 says "A business shall observe all laws and regulations relevant to its business."

I cannot see how you could be registered with the MOJ and fail to be aware of these rules. The only alternative is that you are not registered and operating an illegal business.

    Either way, you are incompetent.

The claim was successful if you would have read the post clearly. I understand claims can be done without using a CMC, but so can painting your own house ....not everyone wants to do that so they get someone else to do the work for them... and I am not a 'him'!! Surprising you would think I was a man!!??

I came on to help people if they wanted advice as I actually enjpy helping people so is it so wrong that I would like to do this for a full time job?? And no I do not get a massive fee back end as I work for somebody else so the company gets it, not me personally. The customers I have helped have always been grateful as we take out all the hassle of the complaints.

If anyone would like advice then please ask as I have been doing this a long time and have seen everything!!
