Hey my long lost family!! I have missed you all cannot believe this is the first post in months so no hope in hell i will catch up lol.
I have been on about 3 times in the past few months for about 5 minutes at a time so no doubt i have missed many bargains, i did get a few 1p lambs last week thats the chocolate kind of lamb i mean:rotfl:.

I must apologies for my absence i had a friend and her kid staying for a few days which turned into a few weeks then i was away in holiday and couldn't even get a signal on my phone while i was there and since i returned i have just been offline most the time. hopefully i can get back into the swing and start glitching again :j

    Welcome home:T:T:T:T

That's me ;)I'm always doing different meals, in fact other than Fajitas and a roast dinner we never all eat the same thing:o

I do really remember and especially when you could hear your DD crying in the shower just before she left:( I am going to have to buy far less stuff because I always seem to have a housefull of his friends as well.Going to try and look on the plus side, I'll save a fortune when he goes and I like your idea of getting the best of both worlds;)I was pregnant with him 6 weeks after I met my DH:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:so we've never really been on our own so it will be so strange but probably nice to have some us time too;)

Definitely time for you both to have some time to yourselves. ;) Believe me the time will fly and he will be back. :)

Anyway I don't think there is a day goes by when I don't hear from DD2, she always wants some bit of advice. Yesterdays was "Will tuna be ok out of the fridge all day?" She had forgotten to take her sandwich in and so she asked a friend to take it out of the fridge and bring for her, only she had made 3 days worth and the friend brought all of them. But washing and cooking tips are always needed too. :)

Just think you can make room for more glitches if he takes some of your stash to uni. It's a must for an Elite 11's offspring to go with a couple of boxes/bags. :rotfl:

Oh and have the best available kitchenware too. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

oooh, I didn't know you could do this - we're in the process of repainting the stairs and I hate glossing, so this will save me hours if I only have to do 1 coat of gloss :j:j:j

Bear in mind emulsion is alot thinner than gloss so more care needed around carpeted area's.

Suggests 2 inch wide, 1/2 hour masking tape and a good dusting where area's meet, stopping the dust and bits getting onto brush and into paint.

Also recommend keeping a damp cloth handy, to mop up any little spatters as you go along.

Who'd believe something so simple could be so nice!

What a great way to use up my 15 kilos of onions on!!!

Can you seriously undercoat woodwork with emulsion and then coat it with gloss? I thought water based paint and oil based paint did not go together very well?

Sorry - meant to say Good Morning everyone! Didn't sleep well, too scared of rolling over and kicking OH's ankle!

Yes you can, it's cost effective ( emo cheaper than oil based) and much faster given water based dries faster than oil based.

They dont mix well when wet :D

Magicowen, the quiche is showing £1.10p when I add it online. Are you sure you have the correct one? It is the Tesco cheese and onion.

I have the right one as I could see the banner saying Half Price, I just went back to take a screen shot and it's now showing £1.10, honestly, it was still full price before, I'm not losing the plot! :o
