    Really some blokes do not have a clue!!!

    Just been arranging a date for tomorrow night...I'll add he asked me, so it's not me doing the chasing!

    Silly comment no 1 - Shall we meet in the sports centre car park, and just take 1 car from there .......
    Errrr NO, you could be some mad criminal, like I am going to get in a car with you.

    Silly comment no 2 - Can I let you know a time tomorrow evening.....
    NO, I have a life, and I have plans to make

    :mad::mad::eek::eek::mad::mad:

    I nearly told him where to stick his date

    Anyway, I lost 0.5 lb at SW tonight, which was good considering those caramel bunnies that hopped into my mouth. Plus my eyes are not quite so puffy now after the mascara allergy thingy.

    I've got my Tesco home shopping order coming tomorrow, using Karlies plan for all the codes. :T

    :eek::eek::eek:

    Hope you have a lovely time on your date tonight. And put on your best 4p clothes, or even splash out and wear your £1 ones. ;)

    Should have got the purple tights to you sooner. :rotfl:

    Maybe he is MSE without knowing it, and was thinking about you saving some petrol. :cool:

    But here is hoping :kisses2: ok maybe not on a first date. :rotfl:

    Well, some off you may remember my shortness of breath issues. They are still there, but wax and wane quite a bit and don't cause me major issues.

    Today was my spirometry tests and it was 'fun'. Nurse was really pleasant and washappy to listen to mme ramble on (as I invariably do).

    I took in the numbers from the ukbiobank test 2 years ago which showed 67%. Turns out its gone up a little since then to 69%. I was asked to sit in the waitting room for 15 mins after having a few puffs of an inhaler andd that improved a little to 72%. Appointment booked to chat with GP about it in a couple of weeks. Nurse thinks a trial of an inhaler to see if it helps at all.

    Oh and for those who like numbers I eventually got my ffull cholesterol numbers. 6.8 was the cholesterol with LDL cholesterol 4.51 and triglicerides 2.4

    Its all meaningless to me at the moment but I'm sure google will open my eyes later! :)

    Magicowen, the quiche is showing £1.10p when I add it online. Are you sure you have the correct one? It is the Tesco cheese and onion.

    Lala, it maybe an end of one era but it is also the beginning of another. They keep on coming back, so don't worry, usually bringing lots of people with them and not telling ypu beforehand! Dinner is then usually (and did!) expected to be on the table as if they hadn't been away. One of the weirdest things for me was cooking one less meal. Doesn't sound weird I know but everyone used to want different stuff so it was quite normal to cook at least three different meals. :o:eek::eek::eek:
    That's me ;)I'm always doing different meals, in fact other than Fajitas and a roast dinner we never all eat the same thing:o

    Morning all

    So pleased MMW that you finally have a date for your op, wishing you all the best. And sending you a hug for everyday until you have it done, it must feel good to now know when but horrible playing the waiting game. x

    Nikki do you remember saying last year that you would be in my position this year when I was going through the uni rollercoaster with DD2? Hasn't that year gone quickly! I am now in the position to have DD1 back home after her 3 years away and I can't believe how quickly that has gone.

    I find shopping the hardest as so used to buying loads and I just get it into to my head to cut down and then they are back for holidays and I start to buy more again and then I can't reign it in when they go back. I'm embarrassed to say how much bread we have thrown away especially this last few months with only 3 of us at home. Good job I only buy whoopsied. :D

    At first life did feel a bit empty as I used to run DD2 around a lot more than her sisters, as she used to try to fit so much into her life. But I must admit I do now enjoy the time now when the house is quiet and I'm not having to run around as much, DD3 is not as demanding as the other two. But I guess I have mum to focus on. And with them all at home I find it so much more hard work. But I do love having them home too, so I think I get the best of both worlds at the moment. ;)

    I do really remember and especially when you could hear your DD crying in the shower just before she left:( I am going to have to buy far less stuff because I always seem to have a housefull of his friends as well.Going to try and look on the plus side, I'll save a fortune when he goes and I like your idea of getting the best of both worlds;)I was pregnant with him 6 weeks after I met my DH:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:so we've never really been on our own so it will be so strange but probably nice to have some us time too;)

    Now for an update of my visit to Ts FB this morning.

    John West Sild in Tomato sauce now scanning £1.30. So possibly a DTD opportunity for some if 32p SEL still showing. The one in sunflower oil is still scanning 32p as was SEL.

    No chocolate chip brunch bars there.

    No big 5kg bags of caster sugar in either of the P00le extras not even a space for them. Not sure it is worth the petrol to take another trip to CL unless someone gives me a heads up that they have restocked. Which is probably a slim chance as RTC. Could have done with some for DD3s food tech practice over the summer. :(

    And I forgot to look for the Niknaks. :mad:
