Morning:) Working today and it's a beautiful sunny day:( Is a very weird week this week. It's DS's last week at school, he just goes back for exams then uni, it's the strangest feeling, and last night he had one of his friends back for dinner who's been coming round once a week for dinner after school for years and she arrived with flowers and a Thank you card, so I was in floods:oIt's the end of an era and has suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks (Can you guess he's my only one?and he was very prem and I could only have him:() Whoops really waffling, off to work now, have a good day everyone;)
Aaaww hugs Nikki - that brought a lump to my throat, I was totally unprepared for the way I felt when DD1 went to uni. On the one hand you're so excited for them but on the other it leaves a huge hole in your life.I know the feeling well Nikkilala. It is indeed the end of an era. Yes, there will be lots of tears and sadness, but you'll soon see that he becomes an adult when he goes to uni. The bond between you will still be there, and you'll have him home at holidays and visit him at uni too. I feel it makes every day more precious, when my DS1 is home, or me there. After uni, they could be living so far away, even another country, and then it's another shift in emotions yet again.
I was so grateful for skype so at least I could still see my daughter and know she was ok - also it gave us chance to swap info about bargains and misprices. I don't know how parents coped before communication was so easy.
I know exactly how you feel Lalamy DS was the only one too and i still miss him. You going have me sobbing doesn't take much nowadays
. Does you good waffling.
You got your T trips to cheer you up oh and OH

Looks like we need a good glitch on tissues soon, it's definitely good to have the support of people who are going through/ have already been through the same process.
It's like everything else - you don't really know what it's like until you've experienced it yourself.0 -

6pk Nik Nak 26p
In my local superstore in W3st0n sup3r M@re the 6pk of assorted flavour Nik Naks have mysteriously been taken down from £1.19 - 75p - 52p
I bought 4 packs and was suprised when I got home to see on the receipt they qualified for the McCoy/Skips/NikNak BOGOF, so each pack was 26p.
