This is BAD news for us, not good!!
tesco give away lots of CC points, coupons, have generous waste and reduction budgets when times are booming. Hard times for Tesco means they will look to cut back on losses anywhere they can.
It also means some of the less scrupulous managers will be taking even more of the reductionsand 1p items for themselves as they do in my local extra.0 -
Morning:) Working today and it's a beautiful sunny day:( Is a very weird week this week. It's DS's last week at school, he just goes back for exams then uni, it's the strangest feeling, and last night he had one of his friends back for dinner who's been coming round once a week for dinner after school for years and she arrived with flowers and a Thank you card, so I was in floods:oIt's the end of an era and has suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks (Can you guess he's my only one?and he was very prem and I could only have him:() Whoops really waffling, off to work now, have a good day everyone;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

I see your point FK but it doesn't stop them being incompetent both in ho and in store
We will still be getting the better end of them

I know the feeling well Nikkilala. It is indeed the end of an era. Yes, there will be lots of tears and sadness, but you'll soon see that he becomes an adult when he goes to uni. The bond between you will still be there, and you'll have him home at holidays and visit him at uni too. I feel it makes every day more precious, when my DS1 is home, or me there. After uni, they could be living so far away, even another country, and then it's another shift in emotions yet again. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

Morning Everyone, hope you are all well on this nice, bright sunny day.
My DS1 has the first of 13 exams today for his AS levels, will be sooo glad when 1st June arrives. DS2 has a couple of GCSE's next week too, his main ones are next year, so will have one doing A2's and the other GCSE's, think I will move out for a while:D

Yes it is bad news, and ways of cutting back losses must be being seriously looked at right now.
I would think there are a lot of disgruntled managers, who are reeling now from the news they are to lose potentially £7-8£K. And good managers may well decide it's time to move on.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0
