Can't believe what I saw today on llandudno seafront. This couple were having a blazing row, calling each other all sorts. Then the bloke picked up a stick and started laying into his wife! Everyone just stood round watching. The police quickly turned up tho, but instead of arresting him they just started shouting at his wife as well. Then the bloke started whacking the policeman with his stick! Then a crocodile came up and ate all the sausages! Unbelievable!

    Morning!

Today is the last day of old, expensive to run car ownership for me- traded it in for a tiny little thing :D and I will be taking mine with a few drops of petrol left and expect to get the new one with a few drops of petrol in there...

first stop will be T's with a lovely wombled petrol voucher!

got my 50p back yesterday from the BB2010 ferrero rochers (nothing more- but did get an 'oh, sorry') and rescued some haribo springtime bunnies and ducks. x5 packs. Still no lambs, and I like animals, so I will look extra hard today! ;)

I am enjoying seeing new/old faces on the thread - from the DTD days I missed - it is like having heroes in the midst :)

-and GREAT whoopsies last night. Best shop ever. Nothing at T's, but at waitrose, all the discounts kicked in taking loads off the bill and I got:

48 peaches (12 packs of 4), 2 canteloupe melons, 8 pears (2 packs of 4), 4 loaves of bread (petit parisien- like fat short baguettes), 2 bags cinnamon raisin bagels, 1 sushi pot, 2 packs of lemon/raisin pancakes (posh), 6 packs of thick hovis crumpets, 1 box jordans super berry crunch cereal, 1 pack smoked back bacon rashers (waitrose own £3.19!), 1 pack fresh chives, 4 small bags jersey royal potatoes, and a fresh pastry for DD :D.... 40 items for..... wait for it..... 62p. ! ! ! ! Had to buy the bacon and cereal at full price to avoid being negative!

It's peaches on porridge for breakfast here :j
    Have a super day- :T:T

Still trying to catch up but wanted to say

Hugs to MMW and anyone else that needs them
    Congrats to Karlie

Just watching BBC breakfast and they mentioned that most modern houses have so little storage space that people have to store groceries in the boot of their car- I smiled thinking that they must be a member of the elite and they must be 1p chocs! tee hee!
Cant stop as off to work but hi to everyone and happy shopping today.

    ok confession time
only gave 1/2 of daily report, been out to T's again twice after taking mum to hosp

she's been nagging me about the fish fingers, so after ringing a store i knew might have them in -they confirmed yes they did i nipped out with her

only a few on the shelf:(
asked one guy, he asked to see where i got them from, the look on his face when he saw the 50p sel,
then he went to look and came back looking all shifty says no sorry no more

then found the brunch bars 40p sel, none left, asked a different SA to look out back, off hew goes come sback with 15 boxes :T

as he was so helpful asked him to double check the fish, came back with a box of 36 :T:T:T:T mum was chuffed to bits
42 boxes ...10 for sis, 10 for me, 22 for mum, was worried SA wouldn't let us have that many but he did, also he innsisted on scanning all of them individually:mad: then would accept 2 condiotional spend coupons £3 OFF AND £4 OFF together , but his supervisor ok'd them :T:T:T:T

had a few problems getting them in the freezer but they are in:D:p

also popped to my local for whoopsies, was the only one there for the fruit whoopsies and the SA who knows me on first names terms now was very helpful indeed,

got 15 more boxes of brunch bars, many thanks to simon31 leeds for OP
got trouted on the blue diamond almonds though, picked up 8 more packs coupons didn't scan -cs hates me and reads small print, best she could come out with was one per transaction, got the rest refunded but in retrospect should have asked to buy them all individually:D:D:D she was muttering about me to the security guard while i was stood at the desk still:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Nerves of steel! Well done on your courage and fabulous haul!:T

    Morning all
    Totally late for work
Can I ask a quick question
I have 2 conditional spends from Mr S burning a hole in my pocket and due to expire tomorrow
    I think there is a £3 off £30 and £4 off £40
Anyone got away in using these together or would you suggest seperate shops?
    Have a good day all
