Don't know what happened to adam - i think he was the key guy that was keen on maintaining a jtd thread post-dtd if i remember rightly? Still see stebiz and angelsmadv posting now and again - used to love dtd:ing and i'd often end up visiting t's a dozen times in rotation on a daily basis with friends n family. it stopped me from going under at a tough time in my life so i'm forever grateful! There used to be a chap that posted on there with the funniest stories - would it have been sirfrequent?

Hi all.
The Elite meet has taken place!:T :beer:
We've had a lovely day. Met up on a local beach and went for a couple of Pina Coladas. Took an afternoon tour, had a swim and showed zippy and his DW a bit of the island.

hi elite Ive just had a wonderful day in Antigua naebbirac took me on a tour of the island, not a t's in sight. went to darkwood beach and had a swim, called in at a market and had some finger rose (small banana) will update when i get back to UK. but its so warm here i don't want to come back. see you all soon:D

We're meeting again on Wednesday for a tour round the other side of the island, taking in Fig Tree Drive and Half Moon Bay, with a quick stop at Nelsons Dockyard if time allows. Haven't caught up yet, but will skim and try to post later. Hugs to all x

Not been a very productive day for me, DS still sick so probably won't be at school tomorrow again
I've got meetings tomorrow too so he'll be waiting outside the office for about 3 hrs while I'm in because like evry time he's sick everyone else is working. Hopefully he'll be OK, the building supervisor will take care of him and he's got an iPhone my brother gave him so hopefully that will keep him occupied for a little while.

Spent most of the evening texting my friend who's on hols in USA, she text me last night to say she was preggers but then got another this afternoon to say she'd lost the baby in the early hours of this morning I've tried to speak to her but she knocked off and text me instead. Just wish I could be there with her, she'd planned to get away with hubbie and 4 kids and then send a mass text announcing to everyone and spend the fortnight with her in-laws getting thoroughly spoilt as they have done with other 4 announcments while the in-laws spend time with the 4 kids.
Thankfully she is strong in her faith and believes that God has another plan for her and they were greatful for their 5th child for the short period he or she was with them. She thinks this plan is something to do with her eldest's autism and a new programme she had been reading about that may help him.
I'm glad she has this faith but I don't think I would be so calm and resasonable about it.

Going to call it a night as am both physically and mentally drained.

yes i remember used to post lovely poems and funny stories, karlie might remember she's the brains of the thread, i'm developing alzheimers in me old age plus my brain is cluttered with lists of 4p/1p items/jtds/coupons/dtd's blah blah blah:o:mad:

Did you ever find those coupons and the card, if anything like my postie here i have had three credit cards delivered here for my next door neighbours in the past week, i keep telling the postie he has the wrong address, and hes still putting stuff through my door...
