I managed to find another 10 pairs of 4p socks last night in the same store where I cleared out 6 pairs last week. Definately restocked. I was almost trouted which was the first time ever whilst buying 1p/4p items.

This Tesco was a self scan one and I came up for a random rescan of 5 items. Of course the CA dived straight into the sock bag and kept looking at his scanner and looking at the socks. Then he barraged me with questions where, why ETC. I said calmly, they're just old stock, Reduced to clear and I bought some last week. He went off to check the mens sock section,
I tried to finish the transaction, but I had coupons, which needed approval, then he's asking how I knew about them so I said MSE and he said he goes on Hot deals UK.
Anyway, I said there's probably more in the stock room 'cos these weren't here last week, so he starts writing down what they are. Phew, then he let me have 'em. I managed to use 2 price drop coupons as well. Unfortunately I bought 2 packs of 2 4 £6 meat reduced to £2 each, hoping the original discount would kick in but it didn't, so Now I'm stuck with 2 packs pork mince @ £2 each. I would have 'changed my mind' at the checkout, but I was desperate to pay !
ps I was going to give him a pack, but he refused one of my price drop coupons and only gave me 2 measly schools coupons when I asked for the ones that other people didn't want and he only had little feet.

pps. saw a receipt whilst looking for tesco magazines behind the tills, dropped my shopping list to pick it up and there are 19 unclaimed clubcard points on it

just got back from a wander to sainsbobs, i got cravendale (free) and the local rag, i paid with money out of the penny jar, as i refuse to take any cash out of the cashpoint machine.(saving spree). it was great fun chucking in 1p and 2ps into the ss till :rotfl:i had a wander around the carpark, but found nothing, :mad: i think they must clean it early am,as there wasnt even a crisps wrapper. and the bins had nice clean bags in them as well.:mad:

Barksavingmad is also local in Barnstaple - not too far away and where you will need to go to find a store with a scanner - the only one for miles around.

Aww thanks thats ever do kind of you, of course I won't be visiting any T's as it a break away for me and the O/H to relax and unwind, but there again I will need petrol as its over a 3 hour drive, with stops at Cribbs Causeway for brekkie, pop into my other house in Weston-super-Mare and a slight detour via Street for a radley bad or 3

The discount only comes off when the items are double multi buy offers i.e. 2 for £6 , 3 for £8

They were pork mince normally £4 each or 2 for £6, and they were reduced to £2 each, so I bought 2 packs and there was no further discount

For the discount to kick they need a stacking discount ie £4 each two for £6 three for £8

Which is a single multi-buy offer, plus it has been reduced to £2 anyway.
