Good morning all.
Had to laugh when Tinyshoes mentioned the hoarding problem. I can't wait for my ds to finally clear out his room (he left home 2 years ago, his stuff has not!), OH thought I was after a spare room, that had never occurred to me. My thoughts were my cupboard under the stairs is heaving and I could fill his old wardrobe and maybe put a few crates in there to store various items! Hadn't even occurred to me to put a new bed in there!
And can someone please explain to me how I managed to get 9/10 in a geography quiz? I guessed 9 out of 10, and the one I thought I knew was the one I got wrong!
Not off to T's this morning, have to go to another town so will be wombling in an A's - anyone know of any decent bargains in there at the moment?
Lovely and sunny out there at the moment, I put the washing out overnight and I am pretty sure it is dry, shall leave it for a little while before getting it in to make sure though! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning all off to take ds to school then onto ts later to meet up with beki88 want to try the grape jucie, hope they have the mag so good hunting all who are and catch up later.0

Good morning all - think a trip to MrT is on the cards and it is wet and cold here but will be warm in T'sRootedNomad wrote: »
Various family members who don't use their Clubcards - I have the little key fob thingies from their accounts - only use these. Definitely manned tills. And if you do have access to more than one Clubcard and can be arsed, try to keep each one to a separate spend threshold - ie one where you only spend £1 once in a while, one where you spend say £10 a week, whatever. The tillspits generated are designed to hit a threshold just above your current spending level - to encourage you to spend more ....
I started using other halfs card and this card never gets a till spit - then I saw your next updateRootedNomad wrote: »I don't think it kicks in straight away - I started using 2 old ones again recently and the first say 2 or 3 shops didn't get anything, then it started up. Regular consistent spenders do not get nearly as many tillspits - they already have your custom so don't need to give you any incentive to keep returning/spend in their stores. They are mainly targetted at peeps they want to pull in, not existing good customers. Which is very very wrong from a CS perspective, just hard-nosed marketing.
so I will persevere - it must have been used about 3 times so I will use it again today - fingers crossed

The other thing to remember about having several Clubcards is to try and get at least 150 cc points on each per quarter so that you get a Clubcard mailing for each one - where they send out the vouchers, Becuase they usually include a half dozen or so other CC point coupons and mocs with each mailing. This is where wombling gets interesting as the additional vouchers are tailored to past spending ......0

Not completely sure, just going on past experience, but I think the till spits are on a weekly cycle, ie no matter how often use a card in a week, I only get one CS tillspit per card per week. Which is why I have several and rotate their use no more than once a week and this seems to work well. Would be interested in any other feedback peeps have on this.0 -
