Thanks Lokitty, glad it cheered up a bad day. Must admit I was crying with laughter when my SIL was telling me all about it. They were blue mirrored swimming goggles - no idea what she was thinking of. We went out last night and it was foggy on the way home and I could not stop giggling.

Have just read this out to OH, he said that he is going to find some as he needs to mow the lawn tomorrow :rotfl: It has been raining so much it is like a swimming pool anyway ! :rotfl: Oh that is the best laugh I have had for ages.

    Todays update ;)

We went down to the car boot yard about 2 pm and just had a cooked breakfast, cuppa and read of the newspapers. The guy emptying the units had been and gone, but we didn't check the units to see if they were empty. We then popped down to the auction and the stuff he took yesterday was there but the porters said that mate had said he would be bringing more on Mon/Tuesday, so I guess that's all the records

We drove home and somehow managed to get the leather sofa bed out of the house and into the van  . Alan went for a lie down as he was ker-nackered and I took the sofa down to the auction where the porters unloaded it. At least that is now out of the house and we have a normal sitting room again :D:D

It had been ok weather-wise but started to rain just before we loaded the sofa  but it wasn't too heavy so was ok. When I got back from the auction, it had stopped raining, so I took the dogs out for a long walk and then brought little Mitzy round from next door as neighbour is away until next Wednesday. Just as I got her in our house, the rain started again - lucky me as it has been raining on and off all evening :p

I have caught up from yesterday so now off to read a few more of the weekend posts that I missed ;) but before I do:

Tricia - great news that the flat is definitely yours and you can move in on Monday. Hope it will be a happy home for you and your DS

    Naebbirac - FANTASTIC PHOTOGRAPHS :T :T :T :T :T

    Hello DSG :D

Squeal of delight, you remember me. All's good. Work on house is three weeks behind schedule. Interesting that it has rained every single day they have tried to work on the extension :rotfl:.

See your keeping busy and have a partner in crime :rotfl:.

Hate having to damp dust the house instead of looking for bargains. Roll on September when DD is full time at school and the work on the house should be finished. Watch out bargains, here I come :rotfl:
