This has all interfered with my tesco glitch finds, and the frustration has been building to the heights of your choccie pyramids!
I have started my glitch notebook, so I was prepared when I went in search tomorrow pm. I couldn't wait to get those stashes of choccie eggs! Although they had mysteriously disappeared from the shelves in the last week, but I was still hopefull they would reappear!
Well what a shock I had when I walked into work today....
To an office full of Easter eggs and treats :eek::eek:
Now I must explain, I work in a primary school! The local tesco (bensonsmum - not sure which of the two) donated them for free to help with fundraising!:T
Not sure if this is a common occurrence but after I dug myself out of glitch disappointment, and smiled when offered to purchase an egg for 50p, I thought gosh that's actually a nice gesture from a Mr T manager :T
Honestly, still gutted and still hopefull that the room full was just a small percentage of their actual stock, but happy for the school funds!
Happy birthday to those celebrating, and thank you once again for this amazing community.

Just a quick question to you Mr T experts. I bought three pizzas on offer (BOG2F) they were woopsies, but there was a hand written sign saying BOG2F still applies.
The bill seemd higer than I thought but the SA assured me the offer had been applied. Had a better look at the reciept when I got home, and although it has applied a pizzs discount it was not for the right price.
I was passing today and popped in with my reciept, assuming i would get the difference back (DTD if I was lucky) however CS asked if I had bought the packaging with me, as they could not issue a refund without packaging, is that correct?
I showed them the pizzas in store, but she said that was no good as the woopsied price did would not tally with them as these had not been reduced.
Is it usual to have to present the product or packaging for a DTD (I thought a reciept would be enough as it clearly shows the discount and single price for them to work it out)
I left empty
I have had to take the packaging back when I was over charged on some whoopsied chery pies. Sadly it was before i found this forum or I would have asked for DTD. The CS person was really snotty and said that I should have noticed when I used the ss, she was kind of right but it wasnt great customer service. When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"0 -
Thank you for this Saversavvy, I read this just as I was leaving work and it really made me laugh out loud. My boss even asked me if I was okay . It had been a bad day and I think that he thought I was crying !!!:rotfl: Made me chuckle all the way home on the train.
Thanks Lokitty, glad it cheered up a bad day. Must admit I was crying with laughter when my SIL was telling me all about it. They were blue mirrored swimming goggles - no idea what she was thinking of. We went out last night and it was foggy on the way home and I could not stop giggling. If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

I bought 3 whoopsied ones tonight for 54p each, didn't see a handwritten sign though. The discount did not come off mine either. Out extra is pretty canny about the multi buys on whoopsiesIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
