Thanks for the jolly welcomes, I feel like I am meeting famous people and you have replied to my message it is like WOW :D

Got to take daughter badminton training later so will get a chance to go to Mr Ts. Trouble is it is a student town and any bargins get snapped up, they are a canny lot them students. So I am on the lookout for fish and socks. Wish me luck I get very nervous when looking for bargains, i feel that the staff know and are watching me ready to pounce. I did the mars bars the other week and the arenaline rush made me shake, I am sure the trout thought I had been drinking (it was only 8.30am).

Wait til you find 4p socks and going thru the self service i had the shakes and was really nervous :D but was worth it when it said total to pay 44p ... DS will be :j

And I'll join the sockless gang as well. My local is only a small one and chances that they'll have them are pretty much nil.

You just made me laugh out loud Flandot. I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you because my "present" cupboard is overflowing and I already pretty much know what people are getting. Hampers, personalised treats, home made mini Xmas cakes by moi and pineapple chilli chutney (was that recipe from MMW or nikkilala?)
    wasnt me....

just back from a few more Mr T's here in the Midlands found about 20 pairs of socks, 1 store was brill no questions asked the other store the staff on SS was a complete idiot. I paid for the socks as i was leaving noticed him chatting to another member of staff and telling him that i got socks for 4p. He said as it was a computer error and i should go to customer service and get a refund. I said NO as i paid for them they now belong to ME. Walked out with my head up high and a few claps from customers who were around self checkout. I felt BIG and i am sure he felt small lol. 1-0 to the customers

Name and shame the store! :)
