look at the comparisons and what they quoted me:
Online Renewal price
Roadside £30 £55.48
Home Start £45 £58.64
Relay £14 £63.34
Discount £44.38
TOTAL £89 £133.09
as I said we had to actually call up and say we were cancelling because of the quidco.
Makes me mad that the first price is not even the best price and no deal for loyal customers.
TBH I have it to keep OH happy as he is a worrywortI say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

I had a renewal from the AA yesterday for my car breakdown cover - £133.09, which includes a 25% loyalty discount. Just been online and ordered exactly the same cover (on the AA website) for £89, with £50 cashback from Quidco. Are the AA for real??!!! Maybe they need to go into administration if they insist on treating us like muppets.
Rant over.
How did you manage 50 from quidco? I couldnt get it more than 20 I think when I tried the other day.
I'm with RAC....similar thing. I did manage to renew last year on quidco as a new customer and although it didnt track I put in a claim and it paid. Now their terms say have to be 4 months between policies so doubt it will track.
Phoned to cancel. Told the lady i was cancelling...she asked why...I said AA this year and will be back with you next year due to cashback. She just said ok....didnt seem surprised at all.
So thats what I will do, go AA this year and swap year to year.0 -

Got to take daughter badminton training later so will get a chance to go to Mr Ts. Trouble is it is a student town and any bargins get snapped up, they are a canny lot them students. So I am on the lookout for fish and socks. Wish me luck I get very nervous when looking for bargains, i feel that the staff know and are watching me ready to pounce. I did the mars bars the other week and the arenaline rush made me shake, I am sure the trout thought I had been drinking (it was only 8.30am).0 -
Right guys am off to ts in a bit anything else i should keep an eye out for except socks of course0

just back from a few more Mr T's here in the Midlands found about 20 pairs of socks, 1 store was brill no questions asked the other store the staff on SS was a complete idiot. I paid for the socks as i was leaving noticed him chatting to another member of staff and telling him that i got socks for 4p. He said as it was a computer error and i should go to customer service and get a refund. I said NO as i paid for them they now belong to ME. Walked out with my head up high and a few claps from customers who were around self checkout. I felt BIG and i am sure he felt small lol. 1-0 to the customers0
