We're back :j :j after a lovely long weekend in Portsmouth with our dear friends :j :j

Alan drove there and back, though he was tired afterwards. He said he wants to drive now while he still can as he won't be able too later, when in pain and on stronger meds :( First night was a nightmare, with the stoma bag leaking 4 times through the night  After the first leak, Alan wouldn't sleep under the covers, so he spent the nights lying on top of the bed in his pj's and dressing gown :( We also worried that we may not have brought enough supplies with us if this continued but we did manage with some to spare as he only had 2 more unplanned bag changes ;) It did frighten Alan as this was the first time away from home and, after the first night, he almost wanted to go back home :( but we persevered and it was ok

We went to Gunwharf Quay with our friends on Saturday, then down to Southsea in the evening for a walk. On Sunday, they took us to Southampton West Quay shopping, and then we all went for another walk at Southsea along the promenade in the evening. On Monday we went to the Royal Marine's Museum and then for lunch in Southsea. It was damp in the evening and when we went down Southsea front, we all sat in the car while our hostess for the weekend had a walk and a skip ;) ;)along the promenade :rotfl: :rotfl:

The weather was far from perfect but it was good enough for us to get out when we wanted, and of course the company was fantastic. Alan managed to get about on his crutches when we were out, but needed lots of naps to recover

All in all, we had a lovely time and it was great to get away, doing things

We got back about 5pm tonight and Alan went straight to bed while I unloaded the car and got some washing done, but is up now watching the footie on the tv

Hardly opened my laptop when we were away so have lots of catching up to do   Off now to do some :p
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(

does anyone know the email for where to complain to about t@sco?? my sis found some 4p socks in our local and she went through ss tills and she paid for them, then the sa came over and said to her "u can't have them they are 4p?? my sis said "I've already paid for them", but the sa said "go to customer services and get a refund", but my sis said no i don't want a refund, then the sa called the manager, my sis said she felt so little everyone was watching:mad::mad::mad:, the manager then said to her u can have them but we know there are 4p items in store but when they go through we ask people to donate them to charity then???? lollll, my sis then said again but I've already paid i want them myself and what is the charity and where are the signs for this??? lol the manager then grabbed all the socks and ripped the cardboard off them all them chucked them back in her trolley and then said there you are!!! she just left then as she said she just didn't know what to do being treated like that, god help them if they done that to me they had no right to rip them they were here property as she had paid for them, if anyone can help on who to complain to this would be a great help thanks

and what was all that charity bit ????lol:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi, the person to complain to is the CEO - this is so out of order and way above a normal customer service complaint.

Just out of curiosity, had she put the socks in a carrier bag or just back into her trolley? As she had paid for the goods, this is criminal damage. If she had hold of the goods this could be construed as common assault and criminal damage if he grabbed them from her person.

I had an issue at a store on Easter Monday and I complained to CEO. I cannot go into too much detail about the outcome, as there is still an outstanding issue with regard to the store manager, although I did receive a substantial gift card meant as compensation.

Put the complaint in writing via email, rather than phoning. Then you have a record.

I can confirm that it also scans that price instore too :) The shelf was
empty in my Tesco and the full price was still showing, but they had some boxes of the pasta right on the top of the shelving, which I just about managed to get! and they scanned for 47p :j I much prefer wholewheat pasta to white pasta myself.

Evening. It's so sad but I'm watching Great Ormond Street Hospital fly on the wall series on BBC2. It's heartbreaking and really tough. My tissues are at the ready...

Just done a quick search back and I now see why I remembered something about Performance socks...People were posting about them being full price! It was the sports ones that I spotted and tried. That'll teach me not to write these things down!
