talking of recycling, I took my old tumble drier to the tip yesterday. I could have left it out for the !!!!!! to collect but i would rather have struggled on my own to get it in and out of the car and across to tumble drier heaven than let !!!!!! make even a single penny out of it!

Copper scrap value is worth silly money. Aluminium is too, its so darn light! Imagine how may aluminium cans to weight the same as a scrap alloy wheel? 1000 or more I bet.

When I had my cooker replaced a little while ago I put it outside that day knowing that someone would come and ask if they could take it. They always ask first around here and it saves me a job!! The council do collect things like that for free round here though but gypsies are quicker!

thanks everyone for the kind comments and for helping me to decide to not bury my sons guinea pig, i will give him the choice to help or i will do it for him i do not want to make a mistake that i cannot undo and upset him more

i had a row with some a while ago when they just came and helped themselves to the radiators taken out of my house....i wouldnt have minded if they had only asked, but they didnt ask and all that happened was that they went away empty handed and i copped a load of abuse for expecting some simple courtesy

I'm getting so frustrated with this simply tap deal. I'm on google play and it keeps telling me I need to sign in to download the app. Fine, but I'm not registered with them, and I can't see anywhere on the screen that allows you to register. Is anyone else having problems?
