Morning all,
Sun is trying to peek through down here. I'm sat in lounge looking at the mess and wondering where to start as job is left to me to find homes for quite a bit of it. DD1 off on a short break with her BF before her next placement starts.
To be fair it is my job as I have filled the gaps that were there before she left with Ts bargains and the top of her wardrobe is stacked high with new kitchen stuff from when that was glitching and been added to with two 90% off dinner services from end of season last year and latest were the cheap wine glasses and time for tea bargains.
And she has not even brought back any of her kitchen stuff or bedding yet. Her flatmates are still there until the beginning of june and she will be going back to stay the night to help clean the flat for end of lease so there will be another load then. I'm sure everything went in one car and so far it has taken two car loads to bring back.
Will I find the Felix in an Extra if I go to have a look, I remember reading about it but can't remember where the OP found it. I don't have a cat but I like playing Robin Hood, SIL and nephew went home yesterday with DTD penguins, Frootz, Halloween Haribos and some socks of course. :rotfl:
And if anyone has any of the Birds custard sachets stashed the ones DD1 brought back have BBE March 2012 and noticed the Frootz are May/june 2012.

My poor girl. She's 5 years old now and has been going to swimming lessons since she was about 3. She's at ASA stage 3 if that means anything to anyone (next stage they go in the big pool....so swimming strongly on their own with no floats and learning strokes). On her back she's like a motor and was making major improvements on her front too.
However, over the last 3 weeks they've started reception swimming at the school pool. Great!!! She'll love it!!! No she won't! She's not allowed to do her own thing and has to spend her time walking or bouncing around the pool (yes I have asked about this). She likes the games but really, really, really wants to swim.
End result is that she's bouncing around in her swimming lessons and all the improvements have gone right out the window. It got to the stage last week where she asked me not to make her go swimming at school anymore.
Have told her teachers how she feels so hopefully things will get better. But she's so frustrated. At school she just smiles and does what she's told.
Feel so sorry for her bless her heart. But they've got to be so careful as a lot of the kids can't swim and need to build up their confidence in the pool.
I just want to wrap her up in cotton wool and give her a big cuddle. But she's got to work things out on her own. Still can't help it....being pregnant I think is making the cotton wool instinct worse.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0
