Morning everyone, in Mr T yesterday the man in front of me bought the thomas steak knives, the discount never came off, he pointed this out at the till after he had paid, the sa said that he did scan the discount sheet, was it a fluke or is the discount not coming off? - that is the question. He was leaving the shop at the same time as me and I said to him I hope you got DTD for that but he never so I told him to go and get it and also told him about the blue board but I don't know if he went and got it or not.

Funny you should say that as must have been last thursday that someone was at CS in my store for exactly the same thing, well at least the discount had not come off on the knife/knives he bought. I'm sure the same thing was said that discount had not come off by another SA. I heard the CS SA say I will have to refund you and sell you again with discount. Was not brave enough to open my mouth about DTD. And the guy just said no problem to her. Didn't think to mention as thought was a one off. :o

    Morning all,
off to mr t's soon to use up some knife vouchers on £80 spend helping hand, does anyone know the value of the most expensive knife that they do please. Got 1 yesterday that was £14.ish, and the discount never came off when they scanned the card, i did point it out to the sa because dh was pulling a face being at checkout so long, but she insisted that it had. Off i went to cs pointed out the same thing, she said i will refund and resell to you, was gonna ask about dtd but she never signed my reciept so i feel a return coming on, pointing out that the discount never came off oops :rotfl:
Trying to get the spend to a low as possible but i think only got enough vouchers for 3 knives. Thanks fernie x

Even more intriging another knife discount not come off. I do remember reading in my store the offer had been extended. Not caught up yet but I wonder did someone forget to tell the IT staff. ;)

Pleased to hear that Mr Lala is back home safely. :T

And Nikki love the idea of a full tank of petrol as a present. You are so right about boxes of chocolates and flowers not quite doing it anymore when we can get them so cheap. :D

I tried looking back last night as I remembered seeing some little boxes of Guylian truffles the one with about four in, anyone know if these are scanning cheap?

They are not being sold in my extras anymore but saw them in a store where the scanner was not working. I thought I had a vague memory of someone saying they were 1p but not sure if I dreamt it and could only find details of the opus ones. TIA
