Hi would someone correct me if I am wrong, but was it Nikkilala who found the 1p love hearts? A BIG 21 P's WORTH OF THANKS TO YOU! I have been looking for these for ages and they 'appeared' today in an Extra I go in quite a lot, so hopefully may appear in my other locals.

Also ANOTHER 9 BIG THANKS TO MISS LAID for more 4p socks. These were in the same Extra and they were not there the other day, but because of everyones pickies, I picked them out straightaway. They didnt have the £3 stickers on and were amongst all the SS12 socks.

Love giving away some of my finds, and save some for Xmas extras.

Since my Riley cat demonised the magpie last week, the extended family have been persecuting him and making his life a misery. Consequently he has taken to using his litter tray even when he has been going out, he pops back for the 'loo'. Hate cleaning out the litter tray but I had forgotten just how good the Stardrops cleaning stuff is (got the ammonia one for litter tray). For anyone (like me who missed out on the supersavvy cleaning stuff) Home Bargains/Quality Save/TJ Morris still sell this at 89p, way cheaper than anywhere else.

I noticed yesterday Iams cat 850g and 1kg bags are all £3 in Mr A now and £5.39 or 2 for £8 in T's , might be a good one to make up minimum spends....I don't know whether they compare now but they always used to...

There is a £1 safe coupon (I think it is on super savvy) which you would be able to print off twice by hitting the back button. Will save mine and use them in Mr A - my cat Riley loves Iams but number 1 cat wont touch them.

Another gain :) Well done! Would never have found 28 receipts at my T's!!

I thought I had broken the thread then - phew!:j

The receipts were from 2 T's and I picked up quite a lot right in front of other people  but I'm glad I did now! It's the cars you have to avoid...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good afternoon - was up early and we had crunchy grass when walking the dog again this morning - wish I had taken my gloves with me. It is nice and sunny here now so hope to get out for another nice long walk

As soon as they ring up the total before they start scanning the discount card for the knives say I have a £10.00 of £80.00 here and hand it over. Also make sure you are over the £80.00 for the gross price when you get to the till. Good luck

Alas everytime I have purchased these the SA have been trained to scan the coupon straight away I did get away with it the first time I purchased but I think my local stores clamped down - good to hear that it has worked for some of you
With the knife offer ending on 20th May, I still haven't bought any, although I have got the chopping board and I'm very pleased with that. Can anyone who has bought them tell me if they're good, ie really sharp? I've got quite a few vouchers but I'm only really interested in the carving knife.

    Thanks

Must admit I am not that impressed with the sharpness

Queen of cheap do yours have a small symbol on the side of your packet that you paid £1.15 for? I wonder if my research is right as......

    HTHs

No, there isnt a small symbol on the side of my box
I wish I didn't have to mow the lawns - just had two goldfinches sitting on it eating the dandelion seeds. Don't normally get small birds in the garden because of the amount of pigeons and magpies around here :( Problem is, if I leave it much longer we won't have a lawn for our grandson to play on :rotfl:

I had a couple of goldfinches in my garden the other day. I had to scare them off as my cat was eyeing them up

Still no socks for me :(

My great fab walk this morning was a complete, total and utter fail :(:( I hadnt realised just how unfit I have become in the last 12 months. It beat me. I got about half way up the first part and my lungs were coming out of my nose....and that was one of the so called "easier" parts! I had to consider just how much tougher it would become the higher i got, and then remembered "death valley" which would have killed me dead. So I had to turn around and come back again :(

I am gutted. I got up at 6am, drove 65 miles to get there (including the Wales tax on the bridge ) and for nothing. Well, not quite nothing, I still enjoyed the drive and managed to take some good pics, but I feel like I really let myself down.

So my resolution is to start going running again, use the cross trainer and treadmill that I have at home and try again when I have my next week off in a months time. It beat me today. It wont happen again!

One thing made me laugh though. Loads of people were using walking poles. One bloke was using a RAKE as his walking pole :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've got to rake through here and find a picture of the socks - going down T's tomorrow morning DTD hunting (after new DECT phones and the IDECT ones are on offer that ends today, not particularly hopeful at my T's though) - the only socks I could find in there last time when I was in a rush were in packs of 4 or 5 pairs and really would like to find some, I feel left out, our store is far too efficent, might have to complain to CS about it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
