One thing made me laugh though. Loads of people were using walking poles. One bloke was using a RAKE as his walking pole :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You would be amazed at how much easier this makes things! I resorted to finding a broken off branch in Canada, it just gives you that little bit more stability and I braved walks I would not have braved without it! Mind you, I can imagine a rake making things a bit trickier, especially if you do the classic thing with it!

    Hello all,
Having a super lazy day today :)
I've not even got dressed yet lol I love P.J days :D

Ive got a £10 off £80 helping hand voucher here but cant use it!! I just dont need to spend anywhere near £80!! so think i will just give it a miss :( If i pop to my local later for whoopsies i might just look for someone with a trolley full and ask them if they want it.

Hope you are all having a great day xx

OT but has anyone been to the cinema to see Mirror Mirror??

My dd wants us all to go but not sure if its any good as havent heard any reviews yet.

You can use the £10 off £80 until tomorrow but you are right it's WAY too much to spend...

My friends (in their 40's, no kids) saw Mirror Mirror and loved it so I don't think it's just for kids, I'm not even sure it's for kids at all lol!!!

    :D

our walk to the beachy head lighthouse. it took us, me,son and older sister, just over 3 hours. :jthe walking part was good and easy. the clambering over the bolders was challenging, to say the least and the stairs back up the cliff were a killer

the tops of our legs are a bit stiff today, but it was fab and i would love to do it again.
the first pic was taken last year on a boat out at sea, i have included it so you can see the terrain we had to walk on

getting there, but the weather was very cloudy and a cold wind blew on the return walk.

    nearly there now,

Hello everybody. Not had chance to get on here for a while - busy decorating.

As today is the last day for the £10.00 of £80.00 shop use that whilst buying 5 of the items. As long as the gross amount comes to over £20.00 and you give them that voucher 1st then it will work. Lady in front of me yesterday got 4 knives and a knife block came to £80.95, used the £10.00 voucher and after knife discount total was £13.95 for 4 knives and the block. and if you have enough knife vouchers and £10.00 ones you could do it twice but £10.00 one runs out today.HTH

I've bought a few of the knives over the past couple of weeks and the SAs at my local scan the knife then scan the barcode for the discount before going on to scan the next item. The dscounts all come off before giving the total to pay. just be careful if you are hoping to use the 10 wys 80 as it may not work if your SAs do it this way.
