help - My M&D are on a cruise & its Mams b'day tommorow.
I have tried to email them to try to get some champage sent to her but no reply- has anyone ever sent a gift to a ship on hte high seas?
this is what it says on p&o web site
Is it possible to purchase gifts for passengers on board?

Certain gifts, such as packages, dining out and spa gifts must be booked no later than 72 hours prior to departure as do any items required for embarkation day. Other gifts may take up to 72 hours for delivery once ordered. Please contact our Reservations Centre on 0843 374 0111 to order any items. Gifts must be paid for via credit card at time of order.

    Please see our gift guide

Please note, P&O Cruises 'Private Label' Champagne, is a sparkling wine.
i take it that yes you could order champaign. you may have left it a bit late but ring them anyway, company will sort something out i'm sure.

I don't think you'll get anyone to deliver on the high seas, unless it is going to dock somehwere tomorrow?

Alternatively, could you contact the cruise company and arrange it through them. I don't think they would have trouble finding champagne onboard.

Which company are they cruising with?
I have arranged for flowers for my mum to be in our cabin when we got on board, and the company we sailed with also arranged flowers, champagne etc on a set date if you wanted. However it's better to arrange it a week or two ahead of time, not sure if it would be too late to arrange now.

Evening all! Well I ventured further a'field to a T's Extra to try and find some of these amazing bargains everyone has been getting........
    No socks
    No cheap toys
    No cheap sweets
Fail with price flop on cakes! (jobs worth went through my whole receipt)
All in all total waste of diesel and had to put up with my OH sour face as hates shopping and a child who was grumpy from being woken up!.........Maybe should have left them both in the car or better still, we all stayed at home!

Sorry to go on but I'm so excited!!

Just got offered a council place this morning for a 2 bedroom flat which i get to view on wednesday and move into on the 14th :D I'm so happy just need to find out if the area its in is nice or not before i definitely take it but other than that I'm finally out of this horrid flat, and my son will finally have his own room yippeeeeeee!!!!! Thought this day would never happen, certainly wasnt expecting it now as I ame 3rd on the flat. Just hope the people in front of me didnt decline it because something is wrong with it.
Going to be weird living in Langn3y as none of my friends/family live in that particular area but only a bus ride away i suppose.
Dont own a fridge though or any sofas so going to be sitting on boxes lol. My own flat I can decorate how ever i want and paint my sons room the way a boys room should be rather than everywhere just being white. God i'm so happy :D I'm of to look at paint colours

QPR really sorry to hear of your news hope your okay and your neice and family :( x
So pleased for you lets hope its everything you hoped for :j:j

Just popped to say Thank you to those who gave advice re my nieces problem with the school, she rang me in tears this morning to tell me her Grandad, my Dad had died this morning she is really going through it.

I bumped into my neighbour this afternoon who used to be a deputy headmaster, I never thought of him, he has offered to help her.

I won't be around for a few days things to take care of, have a good weekend my friends. I'll try & catch up next week.
