T£sco spicy potato wedges - 59p for a 750g bag seems very good value, one to top up the frozen price flop maybe?

And 1.5kg of oven chips for 82p..

I read that you taste improves/gets better! I found that things taste bland and I needed stronger flavours!!

Well whatever is going on has ruined my fave Subway sandwich - the Southwest Chipotle sauce tasted odd

Strange you say about things tasting bland... we had spag bol tonight and it tasted very watery to me but it's no different to how we usually make it. And the homemade garlic bread with near enough half a tub of garlic powder in the recipe.... I couldn't taste the garlic :(
Ah well, hopefully things will change... at least I don't smell like a fag hag (as my ex used to fondly call me!) :rotfl:

I wash the rice in a sieve before chucking it in the pan, dont know if that makes any difference or not but i dont have that problem
tilda rive have a lot of starch powdercoating the grains. yes- washing it as qoc suggested will make it less starch and gluggy.

wash in sieve or rinse for 2-3 times if in pot. then cook as usual. :)

i wash all my rice as a general rule anyway.

    Thanks Ladies, I'll try that:T

help - My M&D are on a cruise & its Mams b'day tommorow.
I have tried to email them to try to get some champage sent to her but no reply- has anyone ever sent a gift to a ship on hte high seas?

I don't think you'll get anyone to deliver on the high seas, unless it is going to dock somehwere tomorrow?

Alternatively, could you contact the cruise company and arrange it through them. I don't think they would have trouble finding champagne onboard.
