I've not read back the last few posts....but wanted to share a RTC item (yellow label) I found in T's D*nstabl* store.
Tilda long grain rice 1KG reduced to 99p. Original price was £3.99 and the 500g is currently on 'offer' online and instore for £1.05. Bit of a no-brainer which to buy!
I can't see the 1KG pack on their website, so keep an eye out for it instore.
We always buy this rice, so picked up 4...left a couple on the shelf.
Just a quick post for the 'Sneckie posters (and lurkers) the Metro in town has this. It's the easy cook version and is in a red bag.
Didn't buy any myself, OH will only have Basmati and won't touch 'easy cook' with a bargepole, he's fussy like that! :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope that helps someone...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Magicowen - non smoking for over a fortnight, super dooper :T
MMW - Hope your son manages to rest up from his hosp visit, at least it wasn't worse thank goodness.
Celebrate - don't know why you are screaming but turn the volume up if you really need to go for it
Tweets - sorry work was carp, as you say you are off til Tues now so have a drinkie and forget it
QPR - so sorry about your sad news, wishing you lots of love and hugs
Nikkilala - enjoy your date night with hubby, sounds fab
SnapAnt - feel better soon from your lurgy and let 4p wait on you.. chicken soup cures everything.
Bubbs - does it look like the flooding is unlikely now?
Newbies - howdy to you all
Fudge Cake - always deserves a mention as you are so nice to everyone else.
Apologies if i missed anyone out - I'll be back after DS bedtime and bathtime. He was just watching TV, a story about a mouse called "Toast" (?) He then said "Mummy, I want toast". I said "no, the mouse is called Toast", to which he replies, "no, the mouse is called George" ...... So a slice of bread got put in the toaster for snack before bed at that point!! Later gators xxTiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -
Evening guys
for whoever asked earlier if the HH £10 wys £80 voucher can only be used on groceries.....the answer is no! I know someone else posted that it is just for groceries...but I think as long as you have some groceries in your shop it should be fine!!
I bought 2 electrical bits (total £50) and £30 worth of groceries and the till accepted my HH £10 voucher (along with a JTD and various other mocs) quite happily
It might not work if you solely spent £80 on non groceries though - I havent tried it....but will hopefully be giving that one a bash on Monday
Doesn't the HH coupon run out on Sunday?Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -
Just catching up on Bones! The perils of extreme couponing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Loving the stash in the basement, reminds me of my loft though my loft is nowhere near as impressive lol!0 -
Hey everyone, just trying to plan another £80 shop. Managed 3 already by using loads of coupons and it did include my elderly neighbours shopping too!
Got my £18.34 back from my JTD shop so attempting this again. Prob is I can't find where I got one of my coupons, it was for 50p off Heinz baby stock cubes. The chicken ones compare against Asda £1.44 v 50p so technically free and a great booster for JTD...now where did I get them from????
the 50p off baby stock came in the post a couple of weeks ago from the heinz baby club together with a little box of 2 cubes, or at least that is where i got my one from ..hth0 -

Just popped to say Thank you to those who gave advice re my nieces problem with the school, she rang me in tears this morning to tell me her Grandad, my Dad had died this morning she is really going through it.
I bumped into my neighbour this afternoon who used to be a deputy headmaster, I never thought of him, he has offered to help her.
I won't be around for a few days things to take care of, have a good weekend my friends. I'll try & catch up next week.
So sorry to hear your sad news QPR. My thoughts are with you. xxxx0 -

Yea all have the wrong mindset to this when yea be using words like "shopping" and "bargain".....
Yea should take a tip from the Cap'n and look at each voyage as PLUNDERING and RIGHTFUL TREASURE.
Mr T. has many Treasure Islands scattered across the four oceans and each of them would slap you in irons and extract yon teeth if it suited them. Keep this in mind when yea be out hunting and keep in mind a loaded musket outsmarts a running whelp.....
Anchors away.....
This post reminds me of Sir Brainy!!:DN1LDA:D0 -
