The only socks left that I could see had *contact a member of staff* when you scan them, theres a tin of tuna on the Kosha shelves that say the same thing
thanks,..been there and got back.
used my £3 off helping hand coupon.
flat floor mop reduced to £2 from £9, refill for that was 87p
3 packs of socks, all to contact members of staff. left them.
bought a black scarf at 4p.
found the marmalade at 20p - 20p for guaranteed bug free marmalade :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: there are still 4 on the shelf.
found some OJ hidden behind the dearer ones, so bought them as well.
then saw the reduction man, so tailed him and got 3 packs of pork with chinese sauce, reduced to £1.58 from £3.50 yayyyy
I was in the SS queue, but Jazz wasnt there!! (heart starting to hammer in my chest) i'm sure he was there on my way in as i had checked to make sure. Was going to panic but then i saw one of my fav SA at the till, so went to him instead. scanned everything for me asked me how i manage to find things at those prices:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Also said that he has not seen me for a bit and asked where i went.:p
i had my basket at exactly 20.xx pounds, but it went down to 18 pounds because of the multibuy on meat!..so had to dash to get something else to top up my shop, and i got 2 boxes of Krave. I have resisted them when i saw the display earlier, but tough times calls for tough measures, so i HAD to get them.
getting a nice SA makes shopping so much more pleasant.0 -
Afternoon all just thought i log on and tell you all,
well some of you know that i gave up smoking about 6 weeks ago now.
Well with all the money i have saved by not smoking i have just been out and bought a new laptop, im so excited im not very techi so my dad is coming down for tea and to set it all up for me so next time i post it should be on my new one.
Have to rush now and pick ds up from school.
Well done you!! Enjoy your new laptop!
I treated myself a little earlier than you did - it's been 2.5 weeks for me and today my Amazon Kindle Touch arrived! :j
A quick question for all those who quit.... when did your taste start to change? The last few days things have been tasting strange to me and I wondered if my taste might be starting to return or is that too soon?0 -
i missed the free milk friday, cos my son was poorly.
school called me and said he had fell on his head and was feeling dizzy and sick and could i take him to hospital. ( my sons school is 23.1 miles away) i said yes but, as i wasnt at home i may take a little longer than normal. i heard him in the background "mums in tesco's getting 4p socks":eek::eek:.
my sons school is a independant school and very posh. i hoped and prayed that he would be sitting in the office so i could just grab him and go. he was thankfully. i am so glad i dont do the school run.:o:o
p.s hopsital said he was ok but just to rest, and no computer games :j:j. my sons face was a picture when he said that.:rotfl::rotfl:life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
Thinking of you and your family QPR, so sorry to hear your news. x0

It be comments like this that makes me blood boil.
Yea all have the wrong mindset to this when yea be using words like "shopping" and "bargain".....
Yea should take a tip from the Cap'n and look at each voyage as PLUNDERING and RIGHTFUL TREASURE.
Mr T. has many Treasure Islands scattered across the four oceans and each of them would slap you in irons and extract yon teeth if it suited them. Keep this in mind when yea be out hunting and keep in mind a loaded musket outsmarts a running whelp.....
