Well i have visited 6 Mr T's this afternoon in my hunt for the socks, and nothing to be found anywhere in N*rth D*v*n, i did however manage to find one packet of lovehearts on a clipstrip but nothing else, would have loved to find the socks as we have a sock monster in our house that eats them as soon as your back is turned.

Was going to buy some Iams as down to my last two bags from when we were getting them early last year on DTD, and nearly had a heart attack when i saw the price £10 a bag:eek::eek::eek:, fingers crossed they have an offer on them soon, in A's - preferably.

FK - loved the photo of you with the Robin, you must be a really kind person if a wild bird trusts you enough to eat from your hand - beautiful !!!!!

Purdita - if i was you i would take cover - Miss Laid is bored and out for mischief, and my crystal ball tells me it could be heading your way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Nothing doing sock wise in S0uth Dev0n either :(

Miss Laid doesn't frighten me....I'll just sit on her if she starts any nonsense :rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

[QUOTE=FISHEY;52907331In_Old_Norse_language_‘herring'_actually_means_‘army'!_Very__important_in_the_Scottish_diet_where_they_have_been_caught_off_the__coast_for_centuries_and_referred_to_as_the_Silver_Darlings._You can pickle them as rollmops , smoke or cook them fresh, dipped in fine oatmeal and pan fried. They are high in omega-3 oils which makes them really nutritious and important as part of a balanced diet. hth[/QUOTE]
Hi Fishey.. one more question, how do I smoke a herring?:rotfl::rotfl: oops, sounds a bit rude. I think I'm being naughty like Miss Laid

Evening guys - too wet this morning to take the sofa to the auction as it would have got wet - too long for van so would be sticking out the back, getting soaked

So we just went straight to the garage to pick up the car. We were there 2 hours as the salesman was very thorough, going through all the paperwork and showing us how everything worked in the car - and there's loads of bottons and switches, plus Sat Nav screen doubling as radio/mp3 player and 360 degree cameras for parking  He linked in my mobile to handsfree cutting in to the radio and set Sat Nav to our home postcode ..... so we can never get lost as it will always take us home :rotfl: :rotfl:

I let Alan drive it home and then back to the dealership to apy the deposit because he'd forgetten his wallet/bank card when we went earlier so couldn't pay  Luckily the guy let us take the car and call back later to pay :o Also, as he is leaving tomorrow, he put £30 of diesel in the car for us :D

Fantastic driving a new car for the first time, other than hire cars, but this one had 5 miles on the clock so definitely first time driving a car with that low a mileage  Can't wait to try it out on a long journey, going down to Portsmouth to visit our dear MSE friends :j :j

I was sitting this afternoon and suddenly remembered that I hadn't took that paperwork into the council office for HB/CTB and had to dash into town again, in new car of course, getting to the office at 3.40pm. I saw a notice saying that from 3rd January 2012 they close at 4pm instead of the 4.30pm I assumed yesterday. At least that is done now

Now back to catching up, lots to do
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(
