that happened to me with a handbag but the sa said if he put it through as a manual override the item could never be returned as it wouldnt be on the system.

both packs of socks look the same and haad the same colour etc, but different barcodes.

the one that comes up as "please contact member of staff" has £8 stickered to it. the 4p one has £6 stickered to it. hope this will help someone. if you plan to speed scan and leg it at the SS, dont grab the wrong pack.

the next time i find those sock, i am going to insist on waiting at the SS!

this is my first time being trouted buying 4p item, and i can now understand why tweets wanted to leg it really quickly....

No socks in Lang!!y for me however went to the main store and got my kindle touch used daughters discount card and HH voucher so really pleased. Then decided to buy the cover for it as well so did a small shop of some basics that I wanted and a couple of offers to take it over £80 used daughters discount and another HH voucher. Got home to discover that it is not the right cover took it back to my local who gave me full refund for £50 as she couldn't be bothered to work out how much discount and what percent of the HH voucher had been taken of the cost of the cover!!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Miss Laid (hopefully I have remembered the OP correctly!) for the 4p sock glitch! :T I managed to get 4 pairs today...one very impressed husband!!!

I very nearly got trouted on the SS till, she was eyeing me up as she remembers me trying to get through the 1p peanuts a while back and took them off me :mad:...so I left the socks til last...luckily she had to see to another customer and I managed to get em all thro! But she still came up and poked her hand in my bag obviously to see what I had got..haha too late to take them off me :rotfl:...I didn't say a word but I heard her muttering to a colleague to 'go and remove them'. There were only 2 packs left, and very well hidden for my next visit

Cannot wait until the morning as I plan to use the price flop coupons with the cakes, etc...had almost used all my galaxy cake bars up from the last time...so perfect timing. Need to work out the best way to use the £1 off frozen too, that's a great one...now I'm off to carry on reading all your recent posts. Thanks everyone for all your ideas and tip, love this thread so much...just wish I had more time to add to it, but I will when I can

Does anyone have the Kingsmill pdf saved for 30p off 50/50 that scans please as when i print mine, the barcode seems blurry and wont scan..
