two packs of socks in SH, 9-12. price checked them and one says "please contact a member of staff" the other says "£0.04" both same size (9 - 12) and same colour etc, but diff barcodes. confused......

took the 4p one to the SS till, and lady with the walkie talkie told me to go to a normal till. Got trouted and had the socks taken away from me ... :(
first told that its health and safety reason, which made me laugh out loud involuntarily. i think this must have peeved the SA off...as she became rather arsey after that. said that they will make a loss if they sell it at 4p and its evidently a misprice.

She had wanted someone to come and do a yellow label on it for 6 pounds, and i told her that i'd leave it.
Me: can i just leave that please
trout: you have to pay for it you know..
me: ok, but i dont want it, besides, as you said earlier: health and safety!
trout: well, u had wanted it
me: i dont want it anymore, ok???
trout : mumbles: you dont want it, thats fine. if you want it, you've got to pay real money for it. Cant expect to get something for nothing.

complete opposite to the nice SA that was so pleased for me when i bought and paid for my first 4p socks.

i also noticed valentine boxes of lindt choc+ miniature liquor bottles, but they all had the yellow sticker on for 3 -4 pounds. nothing else to report

does anybody please remember a kids show from a long time ago where thewre was a cardboard (i think) TV which spoke etc and i think had a tuft of hair and a man that i think was either a scarecrow or had like white mop like hair and i think they lived in a scrap yard/ landfill site etc?
im trying to remember what its called ive looked everywhere online and cant find anything about it :(
and.. the cartoon where there was a pink thing always smoking a cigar and his nose went outwards then downwards, and he had 3 pig helpers and he was rich and mean, and his son was really sweet and friends with everyone else. This is really driving me crazy i dont know where else to look for it either. TIA

just back from Ts nothing to report no cheap tea jam or marmalde ad no priceflop mags yet.
but i spent £34 was miffed that i had a £6 off £40 moc so thought id try topping up a moby added a £10 moby top up and it accepted the £6moc. thought this might help you bump up to £80 if you are a bit short. i didnt think moby top ups would would but mine did. was at SS till so got a voucher spat at me with a code on for top up and had to do it manually rather than swipe my card and do it automatically.
    sorry im waffling now

That's interesting re the mobile top up, thanks for sharing. I wonder if it would work with gift cards for other shops eg Itunes or HMV??
