Think someone just saw the b2g2f sign and thought they had a bargain - obviously never heard of the 99p store

Or maybe just a way to spend 80! Maybe the glitch is buy 40 at 2 pound and then till says 80 lss 10 wys less free cokes - gives 30 pound in total

    Just thinking out loud.....

Thanks for your help while I was out DODO, I think you might be sort of right I reckon they must have had £80 worth in their 2 trolleys so bet they did use a till split. :)

Would that be 80 bottles total to do that? Would a trolley take 40? It just looked so odd as that was all they bought.

Could not sneak behind them at the tills as they were already on their way out as I got there. ;) For once I came out empty handed, was a store that has a Kosher section so was hoping to find some cheap OJ. But no time to try out glitches was only going for confirmed ones this evening. :D

Cheers everyone for the good wishes for Mr Tinyshoes, help yourself at the open bar. And it's ok Tweets, forgot there were some 2l pepsi max in the shed so the drinks are on me. Hic. :o

found a value dressing gown, scanned at £5.
tried load of other socks & pjs and underwera all as priced. will try some more tomoz and report back any finds.
Palmolive got about 50 of them, they will last an age tho.
Also got 2 of the ariel from morrisions after my mam had been in & reported there was none.

The AW11 ones scan at £5 it is the AW10 ones you need. My store seem to get the occasional couple in still mixed with the others. ;)
  • Fingers crossed for you Bubbs, that the rain doesn't cause any flooding!

    .
Does anyone have a barcode for the cheap ?1p ?4p dressing gowns?
    thanks guys
  • Hope you are ok, can you place valuables on top of wardrobes or do you have loft space. Really hope it does not rain too much xx

unplug electricals from the sockets if the sockets are quite low. high value electrical stuff can be placed on top of kitchen counters, as its a stable place.

you may want to pack passports, cash, jewellery etc in a bag which you can grab and go, if needed.

fill the kettle and bottles with some water, in case flooding gets bad and there is waste water contamination at supply (worst case scenario)

the above are in my "get thru" booklet, which i brought from NZ when we moved here. the NZ government printed and handed out loads of these after the feb 22 earthquake.
