Bubbs - I hope you escape the flooding.
WIB - Cake looked awesome!! :T
Fudge - Sorry about your toothache, one of the worst pains to have imo. Hope you get it fixed on Fri.
Mr Tinyshoes - :T  Congratulations.
Whilst DH and I were in Falmouth earlier, we heard on the radio that a fire had broken out at Falmouth Beach hotel. Since we were there and the radio didn't have more information at the time, we went to see how bad it was.
:eek::eek: It took hold really quickly, before long there was 10 fire engines, numerous support vehicles / emergency services and in excess of 100 firefighters tackling the blaze which has now totally gutted the hotel.

The gales fanned the flames and I don't think they had any real chance of saving the place.
(Last heard a few people were still unaccounted for, but were probably on day trips elsewhere.)
Really feel for the mangers and staff who have lost their jobs, not to mention the poor couple who have their wedding reception booked there on Saturday, and the countless others who will no doubt lose out as a result.Gwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -

I can confirm this, I was in T's and stocked up with wine, I went through the till at 4pm and the discount came off....
I popped back in to pick up a cake for my DD tomorrow and to claim DTD on some HP photo paper when a woman approached the desk claiming the 25% had not come off her wine, CS told her that they were just about to take the posters down...
Obviously, I could'nt go back in and buy more wine because I was with CS when all this was going on.... so I phoned my OH to call in a normal T's on his way home to get some to see if the 25% came off... and it did. I came to the conclusion that perhaps this lady had bought a non alcoholic wine and that's why the 25% didnt kick in.. But looking back, it probably only works in a T's extra and not a normal store...
