free tickets for preview day @ Goodwood - no use to me though I will be at Henley Royal Regatta

Wonderful, many thanks Clipstrip for bringing it over to us, and to Quoia for original thread. Just got 4 tickets for us in case a couple of our friends who like this sort of things might be free to come with us. Will make a great day out - we've never been to anything like this before so really looking forward to it. One more trip out organised, especially if we get a cheapy Travelodge or something to go with it
Use to us! Loved watching the basket price go from £70 to £0 :money:Going to have a right day out! :D

    See you there???????? ;);)

Time is running out.....but I still have a Travelodge booked for the 6th May (Next Sunday) in Newbury which isn't going to be used.
What a shame nobody wants it (for free!)

I'm reluctant to stick it on a freebies board as I paid for it with my card and obviously don't want a complete stranger running up a bill on my account!!
Anyone got any suggestions....or should I just cancel?

What a shame. We would have snapped them up for our first trip out in the new car but already arranged to visit our friends in Portsmouth that weekend :( Hope someone can make use of them, as it's such a shame to waste them

Good news about the little boy who came knocking on our door before 6a.m this morning - his parents reported him missing just as the police drove away from our house with him, so he was taken home and is safe and well :j

Great news motherbear. I was worried when I read your post earlier so am delighted that the parents turned up quickly. It must be a nightmare looking after a downs syndrome child, but so rewarding too I hasten to add. The parents must be relieved that he turned up at your door and not someone else's

  to the toothache Fudge - hope you can get it sorted soon .... and painlessly ;)

Had a minor trouting in Asda local this morning over the Palmolive coupons. Woman was insistent they could only take one coupon as they had been photocopied as they had all the same barcode. Tried to explain they were not the Safe Coupons that are unique but she was having none of it. Certainly not worth any hassle but I did point out that her that I didn’t appreciate her shouting off that I had photocopied coupons (which I hadn’t) and that her customer service skills (or lack of) needed honing, which really set her off on one!

Then gets home to what resembled a war zone in my kitchen -Number 2 cat had brought in a magpie; ‘mr nobody’ though will have left the back door open because I left it closed. The bird must have been flying round a bit before being annihilated. Bird poo and feathers on the work tops, sink and in the utility, vase of flowers smashed over the floor, water everywhere, cat paw prints over the window bottoms and units, three plants knocked out of the other window bottom, soil everywhere, feathers, bird poo and carcass all over the floor! I know number 1 cat was not the culprit because as I came in the front door all I could hear was high pitched meowing; she was shut in the back bedroom and had dug up the carpet from under the gripper trying to get out, the shredded (new) carpet as proof of her efforts! Have spent the last two hours cleaning up.

Think Number 2 has had his card marked, judging by the assassination squad of magpies circling the house and side fence waiting for him to surface.
