Hope the toothache has subsided. I've had root canal work done and it's nothing to worry about. My dentist did mine without an injection
I was a bit horrified to be honest but she told me it's OK as the nerves are dead anyway.
It did hurt a bit....but not nearly as much as when she did an ordinary filling without any anaesthetic.
My dentist is Polish and I thought she'd asked me if I had any problems taking anaesthetic when in fact she's asked if I needed any....and I said "Oh no, I'm fine!"
I think I left scratch marks in the chair
....and I could have decked her when she said to my son "Your mum is very brave"
I felt like saying, "No his mum is a bit deaf and didn't understand you!!"
i had root canals done when i was 13 and 15 with no anaesthetic- hurts like hell, so i know how u feel.
:(:( all my molars have had root canals done on them (after filling and refilling cavities), due to poor dental hygiene and calcium deficiency when i was little. also had gum grafting, bridging etc done.
i hated my dentist (and all dentists for that matter), until my brother became one. :rotfl::rotfl:
he is now my dentist and is the nicest one i've had.

I'd steer clear of having a relationship with a polish dentist
