No he got a red card, it's a time out step can't post for a month.

ah, ok I didn't realise it had a time limit on it in this instance, as it usually means it's permanent.

it means Posting Privileges Removed and it is a permanent ban

Thanks redfox. I didn't know about the whole yellow/red card thing before now

I think this is a good time to sign off and just come back on tomorrow. i predict the chat for most of tonight is probably going to be about all this rather than saving money :(

Sorry HC, I love to read your posts and I am sorry to see you banned but I have no idea what happened and can only trust it wasn't a decision taken lightly.
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
  • It's not permant he has been given a date when he can start posting again. If it's permant they don't give you a date to return ;) It can be a fortnight ban, a month ban, or depending on who he tickled up at MSE towers it coul;d be forever

On a lighter note, did you have any joy with the 24p chocolate??
I went looking this morning in a couple of store but no joy, so gave up after that!

Have you seen that SD have got their 10 minute colours on BOGOF £4.99.....but several colours (mainly browns) are £2.49.
I found some semi permanents for 10p each in there too a couple of weeks ago :)

Were you the OP who mentioned them a couple of weeks ago, I did look but there was not any, just the SEL in my store. But I don't get chance to go into town as often as I used to now that mum needs me more. :(

I used to walk DD3 to school and I often carried on and would be in town nice and early for all the Boots and Superdrug RTCs. From memory think Wednesdays was the best day. Ah those were the days. ;)

I was wondering if someone could explain Tesco's pricematch policy please? I was reading the thread regarding the 24p chocolate on home deliveries, people were getting subs plus pricematch of vast amounts? What is this please?

    re potential glitches

any computer savvy/techie people ot there [STRIKE]HC[/STRIKE] who might help in advising us how to trawl the dot.com website to unearth the glitches

thinking back alot of glitches(cheese, jelly, custard, current choccie) have been evident on T's website

there are enough of us to trawl through the site and find more if we had some sort of system?? what do you guys think?? am i clutching at straws???

i reckon one of the main reasons we aren't finding glitches (other than too much time spent chatting about potatoes:D) is that most of us don't do "normal" shops anymore other than perishables which we raid at whoospie time:D:D:D

i seriously have such mahoosive stashes i think my DH might either get me committed or leave me for the 8th time:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

however one can never have enough cleaning products or chocolate so i am all for "searching" more proactively

when i'm going to fit that in is another story:A:rotfl::o

    good idea celebrate :T

hi everyone, hope you all had a good day. we had fun at the farm with the playgroup this morning. afterwards went to T's and found one 4p dressing gown:j and a shelf full of the chocolate scanning at 24p (this was about 2pm), only just got home now from exercise classes so couldn't post earlier. Was a bit worried they would take the dressing gown off me as i went through a normal till with that and 5 of each variety of the glitching chocolate, the dressing gown had a security tag on it. Guy on till didn't bat an eyelid at any of it. off to catch up on todays posts now to see what i have missed:)

    Do your own research. HTH;)

Celebrate it sounds like you didn't actually watch it, so maybe it wasn't quite what you thought.

Bob we have to agree to disagree i'm afraid.

The main theme wasn't about politics, it was about how the intelligence agencies gradually build up a picture of what was being planned.

Doing the job I do, I know that the threat to blow up aircraft was very real, and I am thankful it was stopped.

These do price check, I posted this a few days ago but I've had a 'few' of them because of this :D
Also the chunky ones with 100% free are the same 8 for £1.55 with 55p JTD back per pack

So with these and the 24p Mars, Galaxy and Milky way packs I'm stocking our tuck shop nicely, just need glitch or cheap drinks and crisps now.

Yup ... we need some fruit juices and cordials as well ... come on Mr T, A and/or S please help uis out! :D

Going to change the subject totally here, anyone remember the Aunty's Creme Brulee and Panna cotta mixes? Donut here didn't realise you had to buy ingredients to make them, I just thought you needed the sachets. Not sure what I thought you mixed them with but I did not take my glasses to read the small print. :o

Anyway bought a few Creme Brulees and once I realised I needed to buy full fat milk and double cream, I have thought no more of them as they were not as good a bargain as I first thought. Was lucky enough to get both milk and cream whoopsied the other evening so made them up hour or so ago. Have been in the fridge cooling and counting the minutes now until I can pop the sugar on top and give them a blast under the grill. Hope they taste good. :)
