This makes my champagne suite look positively tame!!! Yes they did go a bit over the top with the colours in the 70's didn't they.

Thanks for the advice, but where do I find freecycle?

    Here! http://uk.freecycle.org/

Although I think that Gatita meant either the local recycling centre / tip or a commercial reclamation centre.

OMG they must have sold millions! They were in blue in the bathroom and green in the kitchen. I think they did the whole estate in them:eek: . Oh and my bathroom is still sky blue ;)

Must say that looks very like a champagne coloured suite to me!!! Expect it is really white though and just a trick of the camera. Looks very nice.

  • I didn't realise they still did those caddy trays that fit in the bath - admit it you're a retro at heart - where's the soap on a rope?? :-)

Ooh dear Ormus, I thought the avocado one that was in a house I renovated was baaad, but yours?! That was baaaaaad!

BTW, in case no-one ever knew - the tiles that were on Ormus' photo, most peoples bathrooms and kitchens, not to mention my local chippie at the time, :D were actually pix of birds! Have a look! My dad's friend used to make them, and all ours were the right way up! I was sooo proud! :rotfl:

Dad's friend is slowly getting back to full mental health now! :rotfl:

If you look at the smallest almost round bit on the tiles you will see a point on it - that's where the birds beak was!

Full of useless info, me! ;)

I'm with both sides on this colour debate though - my main bathroom suite is cream from when house was built 7 years ago, but the en suite is white and both look fine to me. White is always the safer option for re-selling though.

BTW, Ormus, your suite does deffo look a bit creamy coloured to me too! Very nice though ;)
